What are people saying (AI review summary)? This location is a popular and highly recommended spot for rock jumping, known for its very deep water (100-150+ feet), eliminating concerns about hitting the bottom. While many describe it as an "awesome fun place" and an "easy to climb" "must see experience," safety is a significant concern. Reviewers strongly advise caution, recommending a spotter, avoiding jumping under the influence, ensuring confidence, being a strong swimmer, and being aware of surroundings. The water depth also makes anchoring near the shore difficult without a depth finder. One reviewer fractured their spine at this location in 2011 and advises against jumping, despite fully recovering. Historically, some even jumped from a pine tree limb.

Awesome fun place to do some rock jumping! Highly recommended. FYI, it’s 150-ft + deep so you can’t anchor near the shore for people without a depth finder. I saw a family trying to anchor (unsuccessfully of course) moving from spot to spot. So you have to leave someone in the boat.
We’ve been jumping here since we were kids. We have a place on Huletts Landing on the east side of the lake. I know everyone wants to have a good time and I’ve done a ton of reckless things. But, be careful and be smart. Have a spotter nearby in case things go wrong. Don’t do this under the influence, you could easily slip, fall or not jump far enough out. Be confident, if you’re nervous you’re likely to not jump out far enough and get hurt. Be a strong swimmer. Watch around you for other people jumping and watch where you land. We have few incidents on LG and it’s the most stunning place in the world so be smart.
I fractured my spine here in 2011. Fortunately, I only spent 3 months in a back brace and fully recovered. I can feel it in my back when rain is coming. I would advise against jumping here
Easy to climb and very deep water to land in. 100 feet 15 feet off the cliff face so no worries of hitting the bottom or any obstructions. A must see experience.
We always went to Lake George for the summer and did this a couple of times ages ago. THE top jump was to climb a pine tree and jump off a limb. Don't know if it's still there nowadays.
