About

Public swimming pool that's good for kids.

Specific pool temperatures for Crossville City Pool are generally not publicly available. As an outdoor facility, the water temperature is typically unheated and varies with the prevailing weather conditions and sun exposure.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the facility are mixed. Some visitors experienced frustration due to limited pool access, strict enforcement of rules for children (e.g., constant whistle blowing, no diving for kids even with life vests), and concerns about broken asphalt around the pool, labeling it as not autism-friendly. Conversely, many praised the facility as a surprisingly nice amenity for a small community. Positive experiences highlighted easygoing management and lifeguards who prioritized safety and respect over arbitrary rules, creating an enjoyable atmosphere. Staff were described as friendly, and the facility was noted for its professionalism, as demonstrated by a church rental being handled fairly when rained out.

Don't get it, only able to use half the pool. My children could not swim, or jump in the pool in peace without someone constantly blowing the whistle. Children apparently aren't allowed to jump off the diving board either, even with a life vest. Definitely not autism friendly. Plus, you'll cut your feet on all the broken asphalt around the pool.

I was very surprised that such a small community has a facility this nice.

We enjoyed ourselves. The manager and lifeguards were easygoing and didn't over enforce rules as long as you were respectful safe and cleaned up after yourself. Much better than the experience at some places where they overstate the importance of rules for the sake of rules, these people just want everyone to be decent human beings and do what's right. The rules they enforce are for the safety and enjoyment of the visitors

Our church rented the pool for our children's group and were rained out both times. The mayor was contacted by the worker and they did not charge us. This was very professional.
