What are people saying (AI review summary)? This aquatic center is generally considered a good value, offering inexpensive admission (ranging from free for under 4 to $6 for adults, with punch cards and season passes available) and affordable concessions. Many patrons enjoy the open lazy river, a wide family slide, water basketball hoops, diving boards, and a spacious kiddie pool with a gradual entry. The facility provides ample pool space and grassy areas with shade, allowing guests to bring their own chairs. A common issue is that the main big slides are frequently closed due to lifeguard shortages, but many families still report having a great time, with some kids preferring it over other local options. Fitness programs are also available for those 16 and older before open swim hours. However, there have been complaints about some lifeguards being disrespectful, stereotyping, or overly strict, occasionally kicking people out for questions or prohibiting diving. While outside food and drink are generally not permitted inside the pool area (except a single bottled water), there is a playground and picnic area outside for breaks. Strict supervision rules are enforced, requiring children 8 and under to be accompanied by an adult (15+) at a 1:2 ratio, and some parents feel uncomfortable leaving children under 12 or 13 unsupervised, despite the 9+ age allowance.

So disrespectful to me, i tried giving my girlfriend a hug but they outrageously yelled at me to “stop wrestling” just because we’re wrestlers. They stereotype so much ugh🙄
Lifeguards kicked people out for questions. Didn’t let kids dive off boards. Lazy river closed slides closed
First off I just want you to be aware that this year due to lack of availability of lifeguards to employ they are not usually having the big slides open... BUT don't let that dissuade you from coming! The lazy river is open and the big pool area has a wide family slide that 4 at a time can go down together and is super fun and there are also water basketball hoops and diving boards. It is a really lovely aquatic center with plenty of pool space and acres of grassy areas with shade trees and you are welcome to bring your own beach chairs if you like, which is nice. The "kiddie" pool area with a gradual entry slope and lots of extra features for toddlers to grade school age is a very big space that anyone will enjoy. And it is inexpensive! $4 per person (since the big slides are closed) and if they do get more lifeguards hired then it will still only be $6! Open swimming is from 1:30 to 6:30 daily. I don't know where else you could spend 5 hours of fun for $4... Also, the concessions have treats starting at .50 for laffy taffy, a giant freezy pop is $1.25 and popcorn is $1.50. And they have other stuff to eat and drink. I just think this is a really good value for a relaxing day in the sun! Love it!
My kids liked it a lot. We had been going to the one in Humboldt the last 2 yrs, and they seemed to like this one better. There are a lot more kids there, especially teenagers. You can't bring in any food or drink, though, (except a single bottled water) ...which you can do in the Humboldt pool. However, there is a playground outside the pool premises, with picnic tables, so you could pack a cooler then have a picnic after swimming a while, then return to the pool. You'd have to keep the cooler in your car, or as a parent, meet your kids for lunch at a certain time and bring food for them. Kids aged 9 & up can go without a parent, but I would feel uncomfortable leaving my child alone at that age. Maybe age 12 or 13? 8 years & under MUST be with an adult 15 years or older. There must be 1 adult per 2 children. It's free for children 4 and under, $6 for everyone else. You can get a punch card for $50 and save $1 per admission for 10 punches. The last hour of open swim is $4. There are also family and individual season passes. If 16 yrs or older, you can also partake in the fitness programs before open swim hours.
The slides were down but my son's had a wonderful time. Make sure to wear sunblock but forgot mine an a lady was nice enough to help out.
