Not enough life guards before school starts.
We were pleasantly surprised by how much there was for the kids to do and how much fun it was! I think the basketball hoop was a fan favorite. We will definitely make the trip back.
This pool has gotten awesome in recent years, such that my niece begs to visit it every single time she's in town. There's a nice slide and everything is well maintained. I love living in Story City, and this pool is one of the reasons.
Has both a 1-meter and a 3-meter diving board!
When did I visit the Story City pool 🤔. I was probably driving by....? I did used to live at 923 Broad which is like a hop, skip but no jump to that pool. Unless they redid (revamped) the area I dont recall water jets in the ground as the picture shows. Its directly south of the high school so watch out for the fun-filled drama 😂.
