What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool receives mixed reviews, highlighting both positive features and operational challenges. Positives include consistently warm and clean water, attentive lifeguards (though one incident of a lifeguard yelling was reported), and good facilities like a large slide, two diving boards, and a separate, well-equipped kiddie pool. It offers ample space, an adult hour, and is generally considered good value for a small town. However, major drawbacks include severely limited operating hours (currently 1pm-5pm) due to lifeguard shortages, leading to a chaotic environment, and the possibility of early closures if swimmer quotas are not met. Other criticisms include loud commercials playing during swim times. One suggestion was made to add a slide similar to Story City's pool for younger patrons.
Reviews
Need to build a slide like Story Citys pool for young crowd.
I watched a life guard yell at a kid because they shared a band to play basketball
Pros: The water temp is almost always nice and warm. Guards are attentive. It’s clean. There’s music to listen to while you swim. Adult hour is great for a good work out. Plenty of room for all areas, including a nice graduating baby pool, to the deep end and in between. Cons: Its best to go right when they open or there’s a good chance they will close early if the number of swimmers don’t meet their quota. There’s a good amount of loud annoying commercials while trying to relax due to using the radio vs paid version of Spotify.
I had a great time. Wonderful pool for such a small town. Big slide 2 diving boards a high one and a low one. The kiddie pool is great with running sprinklers and separate from big pool for safety. ...it's not a aquatics center so for the price you get what your asking for and a little more! FUN!
Now only open 1pm-5pm because they only have enough life guards for one shift and it is just chaos right now. Wouldn't recommend coming here rn
