Clean, sandy beach with a deep section containing a high dive and slides.
As the Sunset Beach Swimming Facility is a natural beach on a body of water (not a constructed pool), there are no regulated or published pool temperatures. The water temperature is subject to natural environmental conditions and fluctuates accordingly; the official facility information does not provide temperature data.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the venue are quite mixed, with a clear split between experiences for dogs and humans. It receives overwhelmingly positive feedback as an 'amazing' place for dogs to swim and run, with many praising the friendly staff and hoping for its return. For human visitors, some appreciate its affordability, cleanliness, tables, chairs, and a new splash pad. However, other human-focused reviews express strong dissatisfaction, citing issues such as unpleasant smells, abundant geese poop, and feeling dirty, leading some to leave early and not return. A significant complaint is the lack of showers to rinse off sand, which deters visitors concerned about tracking sand into their vehicles.

Loved it! Cheap, clean, tables & chairs, plus the new splash pad. All fenced in, can't go wrong.
This has been the best 3 weeks of swimming for the Dogs. My Dog Dakota dreams every night about the next day. :) Thank you to the Village of Kimberly for allowing this for the dogs and Thank you to the Staff that checks everyone in. They are wonderful young ladies. Very kind. Sure hope you bring it back next year for the same amount of time 3 weeks or maybe longer?? Thank you again
Amazing place for dogs to run and swim. My dog had so much fun.
No showers to rinse out the sand smh . No coming back just because idont wanna get sand inside my vehicle.
I liked the "idea" of it being a beach with sand without actually having to travel very far to an actual lake. But unfortunately, it wasn't very fun at all. My friend and I went with her 2 toddlers yesterday and it smelled, there was geese poop everywhere, and we all just felt dirty. We ended up leaving shortly after we got there to go to the Kaukauna pool with the new splash pad, slides, etc. We all had a lot more fun there and felt cleaner in a sense. I honestly will not go back to Sunset Beach for my swimming needs.
