What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this public swimming facility present a mixed picture. Positive feedback praises the spacious main pool's family-friendly features, including a play area, basketball hoop, rope swing, and climbing wall, as well as a warmer shallow pool and hot tub. Many appreciated the well-maintained facilities, which include large locker rooms, private showers, changing rooms, a swimsuit drying spinner, and available swim gear like goggles and life jackets. Some visitors found the pricing to be an excellent value for families and commended the friendly staff. However, significant drawbacks were reported. Several users found the main lap pool to be uncomfortably cold and its shallow end too shallow for proper turns. There were multiple complaints about cleanliness, citing mold in showers, scum on floors, a leaky toilet, and a general lack of upkeep. A recurring issue was the facility's inconsistent and unposted pet policy, leading to frustrated visitors being denied entry with animals (specifically a macaw) and reports of staff allowing a dog near the pool area despite potential allergy concerns. Other criticisms included cramped locker rooms, staff rudeness regarding the pet policy, and an unexpectedly scalding hot shower in one locker room. While some found it a fantastic place for families, others expressed disappointment due to these issues.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a great time at the public swimming pool in Seaside, Oregon while visiting for spring break! The main pool was spacious and divided into different sections, including a fun play area, basketball hoop, rope swing, and a climbing feature. There was also a small hot tub, and on the side, another pool that went up to 4 feet deep and was noticeably warmer than the main pool—perfect for relaxing. The facility was well-maintained, with huge locker rooms, multiple showers (including private ones), and designated changing rooms for extra privacy. A nice bonus was the swimsuit drying spinner, as well as goggles, swim caps, and life jackets available on-site. Open swim was from 1 to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, which worked perfectly for our visit. Best of all, it only cost $17 for our family of six kids (ages 5 to 12) and two adults—an amazing deal for such a fun experience! Overall, a fantastic place for families or anyone looking to enjoy a swim. Would definitely visit again!

Good, clean pool but has lots of quirks. The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are a bit high. The locker rooms are cramped but functional. The main lap pool is weird. It’s extremely cold. It says it was at 81 degrees but it felt like 61. I can deal with that. However, the big problem is the shallow end of the pool — It is waaaaaaaaay too shallow. You cannot do any kind of turn without scraping your knuckles (knees, arms, head, etc.) on the bottom. I enjoyed my swim here but it’s definitely got some drawbacks.

Me and my friend and her child came to this facility to "WATCH" a basketball game and me and my blue and gold macaw were rejected because of no reason. No signs posted no pets as well as the representation from the door greeter of the facility being rude with no answer to why it was not posted. The issue is if you don't want animals inside post a sign so people no before hand. I drove 150 miles for this game and got kicked out because I didn't know that birds where not allowed. If you are a bird owner you know that they don't wander around or bother anyone. They are not a dog or cat or any other animal that has issues with barking or biting. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone that likes animals. I would understand if I was a person coming into use the facility but just to watch a kids basketball game is not exceptable. This place is a joke for not posting a sign or warning people that animals are not allowed.

So SAD to see this place not taking attention to cleaning detail. Mold around the shower area, scum on the floor, leaky toilet seal for over 2 years, hair and scum on the floor under the suit dryer and no cleanup around the outside of the building. I’ve been coming here for over 15 years and it has never been this disgusting. Today the front desk let in a guy with a dog and he proceeded to walk around the pool area with it. They should realize some people are allergic, all the helpers did was smirk. SAD…. people are going to start getting sick.

Fantastic facility for the pool. It's a smaller rec center, but the pool facilities are great for a group. I was here for a convention and private event, but the pricing seems fair for what it is if I were to visit any other time. The pool was very warm and pleasant. My only complaint is the locker room. The shower is scalding hot and unexpected. Overall a great place to be.
