Frances Meadows is a fantastic spot in Gainesville! My daughter has swim meets here for a couple of months out of the year, usually on Saturdays, and the facilities are always clean and well-maintained—perfect for hosting events. In the summertime, we love coming back to enjoy the outdoor water park. The water slides and play areas are so much fun for the kids, and the shaded spots and pavilions make it easy to relax and enjoy the day. It’s a great, affordable way to cool off and spend quality time with the family. We’re always impressed with how well this place is run. Highly recommend Frances Meadows.

A great family aquatic center. Every summer our church hosts a major Kids Camp, and this time we treated more than 100 of our amazing campers to this fun and exciting aquatic center. Even with our large group and other families being their that day did not seem congested. You can view the attached pics and video clips. They have plenty of bathrooms. Different sections/play areas to accommodate different age groups. Plenty of lifeguards on every corner. They also have a giant olympic sized indoor pool. On the outside they have grass and a good sized pavion which we reserved for our large group as we ate pizza 🍕. A great alternative instead of attending your local subdivision pool.

I’ve been coming here for 7 months for the fitness center. The fitness center is okay, there is not much but it’s enough of what you need. It kind of looks like a hotel gym. The staff is generally nice, except for one girl at the desk that complained about summer being so busy and how she hates summer so much because she has to do her job I guess. I didn’t care for her. Anyway, I recently joined Crunch because it’s a better gym overall, but I still have my membership here because you have to pay for the full year at one time with no refunds. I decided to workout here today, and I left 10 minutes in because it was RIDICULOUSLY hot in the gym. It was humid and felt like 90 degrees in there. I understand the humidity is from the pools, but do they not have AC in the fitness center? Even coming out of the fitness center into the hall was a big relief of cooler air. I would rather workout outside when in feels like 96 degrees than workout in that environment with the extreme humidity and heat. It’s ridiculous. I would cancel my membership if I could.

I go on my maps. Search this place up. And the easter holiday isn’t on there and it says it closes at 6. i drive 30 minutes to sit in the parking lot and write this review because of how inconvenient this is. This place needs to do better with updating the public so this doesn’t happen. Needs to be updated on apple maps.
