Fall Creek Falls Pool is a large, Olympic-sized outdoor swimming pool located within the scenic Fall Creek Falls State Park in Pikeville, TN. It serves as a popular recreational amenity, especially during warmer months, offering visitors a refreshing place to swim and cool off amidst the park's natural beauty and various outdoor activities.
The pool at Fall Creek Falls is an unheated, outdoor facility. Consequently, its temperature fluctuates with the ambient air temperature and weather conditions, typically being cool and refreshing, particularly during the peak summer season.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool is largely considered a nice, affordable, and serviceable local option, with its snack bar frequently praised for offering good food, including burgers and beer. However, patrons have reported significant issues with unexpected closures and communication. A major point of contention is the unadvertised weekday closure starting August 15th, which led to disappointment for out-of-state visitors. Another user experienced multiple closures in a single week due to sickness, power outage, and weather, with complaints about long waits, unhelpful lifeguards, and issues with discounted rates.

This is the only pool near us, so it’s nice to have somewhere to swim other than lakes and rivers. Is it the best pool in the world? No. But it’s beyond serviceable, it’s affordable, and the snack bar is good.
Great pool, even better the snack shop has burgers and beer!
Great location. Great pool. They close their pool for the weekdays from August 15th and only open on weekends. Wish it said that on their website, we came out of state with kids during week and my kids were very upset.
It’s a really nice pool and very fairly priced. It’s normal for a pool to close during inclement weather, staffing issues, and other circumstances. These things are not a reflection of the quality of the pool and shouldn’t warrant a one star review.
We spent the week here. The first day it was closed because someone got sick in the pool and that was totally fine. The second day it was closed because the power was out. The next day we finally got to swim in the pool for a few hrs then they heard thunder and made us get out. They said we had to wait 30 mins with no thunder before we can get back in. 1hr later they still didnt let us in but the life guards were sun bathing. They also said we couldnt get this discounted rate of 2.50 even though we were staying in the park.
