What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews paint a stark contrast between the RV park and the water park facilities. The RV park is overwhelmingly criticized as 'sketchy' and unsafe, with numerous complaints about broken, dirty, and unsanitary facilities (bathrooms, laundry, corroded water hookups), a rude and problematic manager (who parked a mower blowing exhaust into a camper, and is difficult to work with), fire ant infestations, unleashed dogs, used needles found on grounds, small lots with no privacy, and mail left unsecured. Patrons strongly advise against staying at the RV park, cautioning not to pay in cash. In contrast, the water park generally receives positive feedback, especially for families with small children. It's described as perfect for little ones with shallow areas, various slides, and water that isn't too cold. Many found the staff friendly and the restrooms clean and well-kept. However, the water park also drew significant complaints regarding inconsistent and potentially unfair pricing, particularly for toddlers, and instances of rude staff at the entrance, which led some to state they would not return despite their children enjoying the water features.

This place is sketchy. If I could give Zero stars, this would be that place! All the facilities are broken and very dirty, just downright nasty! The water hookup was so corroded it broke (photo included) The manager parked his mower ON OUR BUMPER blowing exhaust into our camper for over 20 minutes (video included). DON'T do your laundry here!!! Bathrooms are gross and have broken doors, no knob, or are just locked up so you can't use them! Fire ants are out of control here! Saw a used needle on the grounds!!! Dogs running around with NO LEASHES! The RUDE manager is a walking disaster, VERY difficult to work with and talk to. WARNING: DO NOT PAY IN CASH! Small lots, no privacy, not much shade. I did NOT feel SAFE here at all! They leave all your mail outside in a communal box to get rained on and stolen. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND! 100% NOT WORTH IT! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

We were invited to a party here and at first I was apprehensive. But when we arrived and saw the park, I was pleasantly surprised. The water park is small enough that you don’t lose sight of your kids but large enough for them to play independently. There is a shallow end of 4 inches for the littles and 1 foot everywhere else. It had many different slides and buckets that dumped water; AND the water wasn’t freezing cold like most places. The restrooms were clean and well kept as well. We will definitely consider booking here for our kids in the future.

I went today with my 1 year old baby and the water park is perfect for small kids, staff was very friendly and they even have some toys and floaty around the pool for the kids. I definitely going to comeback.

The young girl that works at the water park office (where you pay to enter Waterpark area) was so RUDE from the beginning!!! Tried to charge me $10 for my 1yr old and did charge me $10 for my 2yr old!! There was no info about pricing and honestly she didn’t seem to know what the actual prices were. She claimed the price was $10 for everyone no matter the age. If thats true I don’t agree, that’s a rip off especially for children 3 and under. I will be calling to speak to owner regarding this matter!!! I only gave 2 stars cause my children really enjoyed the waterpark. I do not plan on returning unless prices are reasonable and workers are more respectful!!!

Spend some time at Coal Mine RV Park and Shain had a good time. They’ve got a waterslide, wet park for kids, and a nice set of bathrooms and clubhouse. It is a big rig friendly Location.
