What are people saying (AI review summary)? This place receives mixed reviews, highlighting both strong positives and significant drawbacks. Many guests praise the family-friendly atmosphere, clean grounds, and well-spaced sites. Specific events like the Halloween weekend, including trick-or-treating and the Haunted Hay Ride, were highly enjoyed, with guests commending the activities and value. The fish fry on Fridays is described as 'AMAZING' despite slow service. Amenities such as a fishing pond, golf cart rentals, and affordable crafts are also noted positively. However, several disappointments are frequently mentioned: the quality of rented campers is inconsistent, with some being very old, dusty, and small. Food service can be slow. A major issue reported was the sewage dump being full without warning, causing inconvenience. The pool being closed for the season, even weeks in, was another letdown for some guests. While the location and potential are recognized, the presence of old facilities and service/maintenance issues detracts from the overall experience for some visitors.

Halloween Weekend was Wonderful! We are staying seasonal and we enjoyed the trick or treating made friends with the kids and family’s next door. Service for food is kinda slow but I understand it’s a old man working there, Kids got lots of candy, Haunted Hay Ride was amazingly good they said next year they will do even better and on the Haunted Hay Ride you got Spaghetti threw at us very funny and costumes were great! Crafts were great only for 1$ and Ice Cream Social is soon I bet we will have even more fun! Loved this place DEFINITELY buying seasonal at site M 24!

We rented one of the few campers that they had. Reasonably priced per night and very clean. Will definitely consider this site again!!

Firstly, I would not recommend the trailer where they gave because it was so OLD. dusty , spiderwebs, limited kitchen supplies, it's just an old trailer and small for my family. Secondly , the location is a star. Family friendly place. Clean . $6 for wood bundle . They got gold cart you can rent , mine was 50$ a day. Fishing pond catch &release. If only trailer was newer that they can give me. I'd come back.

On initial impressions, we thought that it was a nice place. Well spaced sites. A little background noise from I90, we expected that. We just stayed overnight on the way to Lake Placid Monday after Labor Day.Would stay here again.

This place really has potential but there were a lot of disappointments. The grounds are beautiful and I definitely enjoyed how quiet it is. The fish fry on Friday was AMAZING, however it took almost an hour to be served and they weren’t even remotely busy. The worst part of the stay is when we drove over to the dumping grounds and found their sewage dump was full!! This was a Sunday morning when they should have been preparing for people to leave, instead we weren’t able to dump our sewage. The only thing that made us suspect it was full was some cones placed out, there was no sign and they did not tell us when we came in Friday that we would not be able to dump our sewage Sunday morning. We left early, around 8, so it wasn’t because we dumped late. I can imagine there were a lot of disappointed people who attempted to dump after us. The pool was closed which was also a large disappointment, being that we are weeks into the season I’m imagining they aren’t planning to open the pool. So the potential is there but there was disappointment.
