About

Indoor pool with lanes, a diving area, and spectator seating, plus lessons and a swim team.

The competition pool at the Columbus Aquatic Center is generally maintained at a temperature of approximately 79-80°F (26-27°C). The warm-water therapy or instructional pool is kept at a significantly higher temperature, typically around 86-90°F (30-32°C), ideal for comfort, therapy, and lessons.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility is generally praised as a nice, spacious, and clean venue suitable for both families and swim meets, offering amenities like lifeguards, life vests, and ample parking at a reasonable price. However, a significant and recurring complaint is the persistently hot indoor temperature, with many guests noting poor ventilation, lack of effective air conditioning, and discomfort for spectators. Minor issues include the small size of the cool-down pool and occasional discrepancies in water temperature.

Okay pools. Cool down pool is a bit small. Ventilation and air flow isn't that great. Mid July was very hot. Swimmers on deck using handheld fans to stay cool is a sign it's not cool enough.

I had forgotten how much I enjoy being in the water. This location is great for the entire family, and their are lifeguards present. It's reasonably priced, and they have life vests for kids and adults. Please take advantage of this and teach your kids to swim. It's very spacious and clean.

Its a nice facility. We have been there twice for Georgia state swim meets. Plenty of parking, working parents can sit inside and work while their athletes swim! Good lunch options around but have to drive a mile or two.

Why is it always so hot inside?!? We have been here for years with the state swim meet. The air is never on and there are no efforts to cool the inside. It is impossible to have that building and no effective HVAC for the spectators. Gotta do something!

Nice facility overall. Went here for a swim meet. A little warmer than it probably needed to be in the water was a little bit colder than it likely should have been.
