We had an excellent stay for two days. The pool, sauna and hot tub were over the top!! Our room was excellent and we loved the old architecture and feel of the house. Our hosts were Ridge and John who made us feel very comfortable, since we were first timers there. We highly recommend this stay or go for the sun bathing, sauna,hot tub and pool.

The swimming pool was my favorite! The hot tub was a great place to meet friendly people, and the sauna was a wonderful addition to the overall experience. My only wish was that there would have been music playing in the indoor pool area. Oh, and the lavender room was super comfy with luxurious bedding and pillows. A great Maine getaway!

An institution that would be very missed if it weren't around. As a kid in the 70's we'd go swim in the pool. The saunas are wonderful. The clothing optional aspect was a bit of a shock when I returned later, but it's appropriate for saunas etc. Eventually a "party" pickup environment developed which I have mixed feelings about. Went with my sister on a Saturday not expecting that and it was awkward to say the least. But if people can be respectful I guess it's fine. Having said that, apparently there are new owners who are trying to clamp down on that.

My wife and I visited here this past weekend. For the most part found it a great place if you open minded in the adult life style. We found Paul the man who runs it to be very friendly and couldn't have been nicer to us. There were no shortage of guys looking to enjoy our company but found the few couple there a bit standoffish. The do and don't were also a bit confusing as we would have preferred a more comfortable private area to enjoy a personable gathering with a few friends we made. Don't get me wrong we were provided a private saunas but it provides little in the way of comfort. We weren't sure if we could entertain in our room in the house or not. The massage room offered the most comfort but the door had to remain open at all times letting the unlimited amount of guys to feel free to watch which for us was not what we had hoped for. But if you are into putting on a show you will love it there. But all in all we found it an enjoyable place. No one crossed any line of respect which is made very clear would not be acceptable. I think if they made a few private rooms that could be used by couples to entertain in this place would be unbelievable. So check it out it was a friendly place to meet other open minded people. Again Paul could not have been a better host.
