What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this pool are mixed. Positives include being very child-friendly with an awesome slide, and some reviewers praised the lifeguards for their positive attitudes and enjoyment of their jobs. However, there are significant criticisms, particularly concerning new management described as unfriendly, snooty, and prone to yelling, along with unexpected charges for non-swimmers. Several incidents involving inappropriate adult behavior towards children and kids blocking slides were reportedly handled poorly by management and lifeguards, leading to a negative experience and some patrons vowing not to return. It's also noted that the facility is cash-only.

Very child friendly. We had a great time. FYI they only take cash so make sure you have enough to get in and get snacks.

Been going to this pool for many years with no issues. Today at the pool we had some person cuss at a 12 year-old and told her to #uck Off. The kids were doing nothing wrong. Management allowed this person bully our kids and told her not to talk to the kids anymore. This was their way to handle the situation. Our kids no longer felt comfortable to be there and swim so we had left after we paid for 7 people to go swimming. This person allowed her kids to stand at the bottom of a slide and did not tell them to move when other people wanted to use the slide. The lifeguard should had stepped up and tell her kids to get off of the bottom of the slide or to tell the parent to actually do their job. The lifeguard had no issues as kids should not stand at the bottom of the slide. Will never go back due to their negligence to take care of the situation and allow a grown adult to act like a child.

Charging you for not swimming, new management isn't friendly, very snooty, with an unpleasant attitude, was talking negatively to people I knew about how all of a sudden unexpected charges. The other manager was way nicer, and more professional, she wouldn't yell across the entire pool and embarrass kids...

#.2 of 10 north Iowa pools for fun in the sun. But this pool far outshines any other when it comes to lifeguards who actually want to be there and enjoy their job. Soo impressed by the night and day difference in attitude between this group and any others. Pool managers- go watch these guys!
