I haven’t been a visitor in very long time and unsure if it’s still being done but when I was a kid at the school years ago, part of our P.E. was swim day. Back then the layout was different; It was three separate pools; The kid one, lap one and deep one with two low diving boards and one high one. Looking at the map, the deep one looks to be completely covered up by concrete, or the lap pool was extended into it, hard to tell since it’s been so long. I never really cared much for the lap one so spend most of it on the deep one. Only bummer part was my class was early in the morning so we were always cold.
Been going since I was a little girl. Such good memories with friends! Snack bar is good, a little pricey. Nice that there are showers and restrooms. And you can store your belongings with the life guards inside.
This sucks ! j/s.. Why is it. Only on Monday's it's open 1:00 to 4:00 .pm "What happened'! to the rest of the "week". In that case you should "open at 6pm to 9pm " The only good thing that I can say I give two thumbs up! That it's Open on Saturday Yay !! The best Public Pool that I went to when I was a kid is of course McFarland !!
It's fun for the kids but WAY to many rules now. My sister and neice are swimming in the swim team and we tried to go on our free time so they can practice their diving and they can't even dive on the 6 feet where it's the actual spot for diving
Its a great place to bring the family. Its super fun. They should add a slide though. That would make things 10 times better
