Steve went above and beyond our expectations. We appreciated how thorough and knowledgeable he was, specifically about historic homes. He even pointed us in the direction of additional resources to help remedy the problems with the home. I felt much more informed and confident after our inspection with Steve. Not to mention he is overall a really nice guy to spend a few hours with.

My wife and I are in the process of building a new house in Bel Air and reached out to Steve for a pre-drywall inspection. He was flexible and attentive to our schedule as we had a small window from the builders to get in to inspect. He was very knowledgeable and documented and explained in great detail every thing he found, major and minor. The final report was very helpful and he was very attentive to any follow up questions/clarifications. We would definitely recommend and will hire again for another inspection when our house is completed in a few months!

Steve is the best in the business. We've had him come out for two home purchases and each time we've been more than satisfied with his inspection. Steve is attentive, detail-oriented, and extremely knowledgeable in the field. Steve is professional, does a fantastic job, and is happy to explain his findings in a way that is understandable. He sends your an extensive report that includes pictures and video. He saved us from 2 bad home purchases. Can't recommend him enough!! Thanks, Steve!!

We have now done two home inspections with Steve Showalter. He is extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and always willing to talk through his findings. His inspections make it easy to make an informed decision about a property. If I ever need another inspection, I will always request Steve be the one to do it.
