We did not stay at the resort. We purchased day passes in advance. This allowed for easy check in. We purchased a table in advance, which ended up being a bust. It was right by the wave pool and had Loud(music and Music videos on screen) and it was super humid. We wanted the table so my mother in law had a place to hang out and read, order table side service. The only thing we used was the towels and 4 waters that came with it. We ended up moving to the other side of the park by the swim up bar. There was plenty of open tables. It was much cooler and not nearly as loud. There should be a disclaimer when reserving the tables. Oh well, now onto the park itself. We did all the rides indoors that we could with our oldest. There was a few she wasn’t tall enough for. Beware, there are rides where they don’t allow phones, water shoes and they have you take off your necklace. Only the extreme rides. They make you leave it up top. Fortunately there are 4 or so different rides at the top of each set of stairs. Master blaster had to be our favorite ride! It was like a rollercoaster water slide. So fun! Once we felt like we did everything inside it was refreshing to know we had the outdoor park to explore! More adrenaline riddled rides! Kids had a blast! We left shortly before close but were able to do every ride we wanted. There was a few my little guy(4) could go on with me on a double tube. He was content at the kids area, playing basketball and swimming in the pool. We all had a blast. The food was decent but a long wait. The souvenir cup was small and the only cup with free refills, which sucked. The kids souvenir cups had $3 refills. They were cute though. Pizza, pretzel, cheese curds were all good, they even had fruit! Only complaint is it’s by the entrance so you do have to walk across the park. Lastly there were plenty of life jackets available throughout the park. Overall we had a blast!

We love the indoor waterpark! Such great amenities and slides. There are so many things for little kids to do in the indoor park. There are a few little kids slides in the wave pool area. Beware of riding the single, yellow slide that empties into the wave pool while the waves are coming. Your little one may need some assistance getting past the waves and out of the slide. There's a nice lazy river and a water fortress with plenty more kids slides and several levels for kids to explore. They have kid-sized basketballs to toss into the kid-height basketball hoops. Our son loves these! If you head toward the back right section of the indoor park, there's a baby/toddler area with many smaller slides and water features. The only downside is that there aren't too many tables and chairs surrounding the baby/toddler area. We appreciate the "after 4pm admission" on weekends so its a little less expensive, the concessions area right in the park, and the locker rooms equipped with showers, changing rooms, and a swim suit dryer. We will be back again!

This was our first stay. I booked a room at Hillside, and bought a VIP package for early check in/late check out. When we went to check in, I learned we'd been AUTO upgraded to a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite in the main building. We also had a fireplace, and a patio! The kids were super impressed. The staff was friendly, and took good care of our needs the entire stay. After the outdoor waterpark opened, the indoor crowd evenly dispersed and lines for slides significantly decreased. I have been impressed with the hospitality in the Dells since our first trip Labor Day in 2023, and this experience with Kalahari has ensured we will plan to stay again

Experience an epic waterpark that caters to all ages and preferences. With an abundance of activities to choose from, you’ll find endless entertainment. There are two fantastic water parks—one invitingly indoors, perfect for any weather, and the other basking in the sun outdoors, featuring an exciting array of slides that promise thrills and laughter. The adventure park is equally delightful, brimming with engaging games and rides that appeal to everyone in the family. The sprawling layout of this destination is so vast that a complimentary shuttle bus is available to effortlessly transport you between your hotel room and the various areas of fun. When it comes to dining, you'll discover a diverse selection of excellent food options to satisfy every palate. It’s worth noting that while the experience comes at a premium price, the range of amenities and the overall enjoyment make it a memorable outing for the entire family.

Pretty cool indoor and outdoor water park. Plenty for kids to experience something. As some other folks stated... It sometimes feels like resorts charge for everything like if things were gold plated. An interesting thing I noticed on 3 bottled drinks I purchased was that expiration times were like in a month/two months out, like if they were buying drinks in bulk cheaper due to expiration time and selling those like 10x the value ;) My little conspiracy theory, due to the drinks purchased in two different sections of the park ;) And the last thing... The major slides... I wish they installed inside of them LED strip lights. I went to some other park a while ago and experience was waaaaay better than just sliding thru a darkness, which in my case in this one was just like 😑 meh. I've experienced something way better, and just don't understand how complicated for the guys in this business would be to install something like that there.
