The room was pretty good. Bed could be more comfortable and internet didn't work the entire stay so that was frustrating. Our location close to the park. Less than 5 minutes so that was nice. Really liked the old feel of the building but how it was kept nice still. Was kind of creepy there were only 4 cars in the lot the first night and the outdoor lights were turned off the 1st night but the second night there were more cars and lights were turned on. 10 am check out was a little early compared to most hotels and to get a later one I think it was a minimum of $20. The fridge was a good size and kept things cold. Overall we had lots of fun even though the weather wasn't the greatest. The water park outdoors the water could have been a little warmer but the roller coasters were a blast.
I recently stayed at Mt. Olympus in Wisconsin Dells and overall had a very positive experience. Our room in Building 10 was clean and well-kept, equipped with a microwave and mini-fridge, which added convenience to our stay. Having a washer and dryer available on-site was also a great amenity. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and parking was included, which made things easier. Although navigating to the parking lot was a little confusing at first, it became straightforward once we figured it out. The resort itself was clean for the most part, and the park offered a wide variety of rides that were enjoyable. I was especially impressed with the attentiveness and professionalism of the lifeguards—they did an excellent job ensuring safety while keeping things running smoothly. The only downside was that the beds were somewhat uncomfortable, but this was a minor issue compared to the overall experience. In the end, we had a nice stay and would consider returning in the future.
Overall if you go into a stay at Mt.Olympus just keep your expectations realistic and understand this is a budget resort that has a good amount of amusement for many different ages. In the summers I can only imagine this place is packed elbow to elbow but even in peak season this resort is affordable compared to most other resorts in the Dells. For the price I paid in the off season it was suspiciously cheap. The rooms and stay over all was great, with that being said these off season rates are cheap for a reason. Many rides at the amusement park weren't operational they didn't have a list of rides that weren't going to be available. Other than that issue it was a pleasant as affordable trip.
Hello, Myself and my partner booked a stay w/ our daughter for two nights for Labor day weekend. We stayed in the main building that has check-in and we are highly disappointed in the quality, cleanliness and how service was handled during our stay. I will first adress the positive of our stay. We had access to the water park both indoor and outdoor, which was great for us as a family. But this is all we can speak highly on. During our stay we called ahead and asked about having a crib placed in our room for our daughter they informed us it would be an additional $25 dollars per day. For an establishment of this caliber and status in the Dells you would expect these wouldn't be an increased cost. We declined this as we had thankfully brought our own pack-n-play along. I am surely glad we had as the room we stayed in was not to a good standard of cleanliness and I wouldn't have expected much from the crib on how well it was maintained or cleaned. We had multiple issue with the quality of the room starting with the bathroom which had black spot on the caulking line, ceiling panels faded to a yellow stain. Stains on the sheets. The room appeared to not have been cleaned in weeks and the comforter was nonexistentent and was like having a second top sheet for you to sleep with. We had on our last night a very loud bang coming from our door in the hallway. So we looked outside the room and saw nobody there. We also had very noisy neighbors due to the thin walls between rooms. I would not suggest to stay at the check-in building if you are going to spend money due to its lack of cleaning, outdated rooms, and its overall up keep.
Spent 2 nights, 3 days at Mt. Olympus. We enjoyed the hotel. The size of the room worked great for 5 people, but kinda wished there was more storage space to put luggage/bags. Both Waterparks were a blast and the pools depths worked great for the kids. The only problems we had were when we tried to ride the roller coasters. We sat for 30+ minutes waiting buckled and locked in for a couple of the rides to actually go, and when we asked questions the staff just ignored us. They finally sent the ride when it was filled.
