Absolutely fantastic experience! This pool is incredibly family-friendly with something for every age group. The abundance of lifeguards on duty ensures everyone feels safe, and they diligently enforce the rules to maintain a fun and secure environment. The concession stand is well-stocked with plenty of options to satisfy all tastes. Highly recommend for a perfect family outing!
Great local pool. Snacks and drinks available to buy onsite.
Wonderful facility! The staff was very friendly and I was amazed at how many life guards were guarding the pool. Also it was neat to see the life guards enjoying the pool on their break as well! The only downfall is that there is only one shower-less changing room in the women’s bathroom. When you have more than one small child with, it’s easier to have a bigger changing area that is closed off to keep them all contained.
We love this aquatic center! It is very affordable and has so much to offer for all age levels! We absolutely love the lazy river. This pool is always very well staffed and clean.
This relatively new aquatic center is just the ticket for this small town. There is not a whole lot for children and/or families to do in this area. There is a HUGE need for more children and family friendly things to do. My husband and I go by ourselves and just float in the lazy rivet for hours on hot days. We also enjoy taking the grandkids ages 7 & 9 and love that the area is gated, depth of water clearly marked and lifeguards VERY attentive. This allows us to rode tubes in the lazy river while the children are free to do whatever they choose in the areas that are height appropriate. And from the lazy river we have a clear view to keep an eye on them while still enjoying ourselves and "doing our own thing". There are several different areas in the center, all connected. From a very shallow few inches play area for tiny ones which has a tiny water slide that is vefy cute amongother water featureslike sprayers and bubblers, that gradually gets deeper for a bit older kids and even an adult height pool equipped with a diving board. Not to mention a slide that can be ridden on single tube or double tube. The slide does have a height requirement even if child is with an adult. I think it may be 46" but don't quote me on that. Our granddaughter was tall enough at 8 but her 7 year old brother is not tall enough. There are lounge chairs all around (in the sun) that are not comfortable and approximately 6 tables with umbrellas and regular sitting chairs if you are looking to get out of the sun. There are showers and restrooms for both male and female and while always wet seem clean for the most part. There is a concessions stand with drinks (non alchohal) and a few snacks. A soda machine in front of the building as well as soda is not offered at concessions for some odd reason. The water is always very temped on hot days and always very clean and well maintained. In case you are wondering you must bring your own towels, etc. Admission for Richland Center residents is $5 pp. Their are season passes for both individuals and families but I'm not sure of that price. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is the terribly uncomfortable lounge chairs (they need some cushions) and the operating hours are too short. For example they close at 6pm each day except Wednesday which is 8pm. This makes it very difficult for working adults to enjoy the facility as most work until at least 5. I find this extremely disappointing and would definitely like to see this change.
