We have held 2 Golf Tournaments here. We are working on our 3rd. This place is great. Colin is the absolute best. He's very knowledgeable and always willing to help. He was able to give us advice and direction to make our tournament even better. I highly recommend Cypress Lakes. Thanks Colin & crew for all of your help in making our events so successful.
My son and I played there yesterday 5/13/25. What a beautiful place. Greens were excellent. Love the layout. One of the most challenging golf courses in the metropolitan area. Might be the most challenging! We decided to get a membership. The young lady at the cash register was very nice and knowledgeable. She even went out of her way to get the manager for me. The manager got our information in the system very quickly, and we were off to play golf. I highly recommend Cypress Lake Country Club.
I played Cypress Lakes Country Club for the first time yesterday and it went beyond meeting my expectations in a very good way. The Greenskeeper is doing a fantastic job on every part of this course; greens are in great shape, as well as fairways, tee boxes and practice greens are all well maintained. The pro shop was helpful in checking in (they offer military discount, which is always appreciated) and the Club Car rental carts were reliable, clean and have two sand bottles each. It seemed like nearly every hole had a trash can and ball washer at the tee box too. I didn’t use the range, but there are balls to purchase, but keep those shots straight, as the practice range is nestled in between the 1st and 9th fairways. Overall, I really enjoyed this course and the challenges it provided. I’d say my favorite part are the greens (large, undulating and roll true) and the nice houses lining the course (nothing cookie-cutter and all have their own personality). I’ll definitely be back again!
Played this course today on 6/9/2024 with a buddy of mine for the first time in a few years. See pictures attached. Don’t overlook this affordable course 20 minutes outside of Metairie. Greens rolled great and fairways/tee boxes had plenty of grass. You can tell a lot of work went into these new greens. They look great coming into summer. Course layout is open, but has a challenging eye with the water. Highly recommend checking it out.
Played 18 holes with my son today. We are low handicap players and we weren't disappointed by the challenge. Really nice golf course about 30 minutes from NOLA where I am staying. Only one of the greens was in poor shape, but the rest were nice if maybe a bit slow. The track is nice with plenty of water on the fairways, so a driver off every tee isn't the play. Thanks to the crew and staff for all the work they do on the course and in the shop! Will play there again for sure.
