The competition pool typically maintains a temperature of approximately 27°C (81°F). The leisure pool is kept warmer, usually around 31-32°C (88-90°F), while the hot tub is maintained at about 40°C (104°F).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Customers generally praise the swimming pool and waterpark for its great amenities, good value, and family-friendly atmosphere, featuring slides, a lazy river, wave pool, and diving sections. However, several downsides were noted: occasional wait times, current closures of the main lengths pool and diving boards for maintenance until September, and the desire for longer time slots. Significant concerns were raised regarding staff, with some youth staff exhibiting poor attitudes and unprofessional behavior, and front desk staff being described as rude. A major point of frustration was unexpected public swim hour restrictions (e.g., no public swim until 1 pm on a Sunday), leading to wasted travel time and disappointment for families, sometimes exacerbated by unhelpful staff.
Reviews
Great swimming pool at an even better price, but only two (minor) downsides. The wait can sometimes be a bummer, usually pretty good though, and also the main lengths pool and diving boards are closed for maintenance until around September.
Great Waterpark that is reasonably priced and includes 3 big slides, lazy river, wave pool, kid's Waterpark, hot tub, and big pool with diving section.
While the pool and the amenities are great, some of the youth staff is often overreacting and act like they own the place. They need some serious attitude training.
Great pool, family enjoyed, wish our time slot was longer.
Was very disappointed when we drove 30 minutes to go swimming this morning then planned to have lunch there only to be told no public swim till 1pm...on a sunday?! Yes my bad for not looking but we go swimming every Sunday at many other pools and never had an issue. I personally feel that's a little ridiculous on a weekend when family (especially youngest who nap) want a family day out. But my main issue and reason for leaving this review was the women at the desk talked to us like we were stupid when I said we were there to swim. Extremely unprofessional. Very disappointed toddler who had to be loaded back in the car and drive another 30 minutes to Grandview where we were happily greeted and had a good swim.
