Many visitors praise its cleanliness, fun and relaxing atmosphere, the music played, and its free entry, often describing staff as wonderful and helpful. However, a significant number of negative experiences highlight issues with lifeguard and manager behavior. There are also reports of a manager (Sue) being very rude and yelling at patrons in front of children, inconsistent rule enforcement, and difficulties in reporting complaints.

This was our first time visiting, and overall we had a good experience—except for one issue that really stood out. One of the lifeguards repeatedly yelled at my child, even as I was already addressing the situation myself. My child was asked to leave the handicap section, which I understand, but the lifeguard continued to single them out and find other things to criticize, which felt excessive and unnecessary. It’s important for staff, especially at a community pool, to know how to communicate respectfully with both kids and parents. There are plenty of young people looking for summer jobs who would bring a more positive and professional attitude. I’d recommend considering staff who are better suited to working with families and creating a welcoming environment.

VERY RUDE LIFEGUARDS AND A VERY VERY RUDE MANAGER NAMED SUE!!!!!! They where targeting me and my family when we came to have a nice time swimming and day outside the second we walked in two of the lifeguards (didn’t get their names) were slandering me and my family talking to other people in the pool about us and then repeatedly hung up on us when we called to make a complaint about them. Sue had yelled at us in the changing room infront of my 2 children (4 and 8 months) and the lifeguard tried to say that we were swearing when they were also yelled at my son who was with his aunt and had a floaty on got yelled at for being in the deep end when there was a little girl who was at least 2 years younger then my son was in the deep end the whole time and never once got told that she couldn’t be there
