Was charged $250 without notice for cleaning service room was not even clean - when I requested cleaning service they just brought a vacuum to my room and I had to clean it my self. When I tried to dispute this charge I was given the runaround and was never contacted again. There are plenty of other places you can spend your family's hard earned money at in this great state of Michigan that would not treat your family the way that my family was treated here. Would not recommend.

Wouldn’t let my daughter on some of the attractions in the water park because she was to short. When I was standing there watching her at the rock wall the life guard had no problem allowing her to participate but once I walked away she got kicked out. I also stayed here as they were running a special with the kids eating free. It was explained to me at check in a totally different way at check out. I think the front desk staff need to be trained the same, and all on the same page. The rooms were very clean as was the rest of the hotel.

I truly wish I could give Soaring Eagle a higher rating, as my stay started off well and the staff even gave me a discounted room rate, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, my experience ended in one of the most frustrating hotel stays I’ve ever had. On checkout day, I paid to extend my room (212) until 2 PM. When I returned around 1:25 PM, I found my room had already been cleared out. My belongings were bagged and left at the front desk, food items were thrown away, and $150 cash from my room was missing. I spoke with Emily at the front desk, who was professional and understanding, and she refunded one of the charges. However, when escalated to a manager, I was met with interruptions, blame-shifting, and zero accountability. Since then, the police have even contacted me regarding the matter, but I declined to press charges because I expected the hotel to resolve this internally with integrity. Instead, Soaring Eagle has repeatedly failed to follow up or provide any real resolution, forcing me to chase answers that should have come from them. What started as a pleasant stay ended with a complete loss of trust. Based on how this situation was mishandled, I cannot recommend Soaring Eagle, and I will not be returning.

I sure wish other water park themed hotels would allow general public to enjoy their water park like this place does. Even if you aren't into the water slides something wrong with if you don't like it lol joking 😁 😃 search simple fact their low cost entry allows you or the entire family to explore without much cost. 😉 If you're single lady I'm their frequently would love to enjoy with you

While the water park had some enjoyable features for small children, overall we were disappointed with our stay. The hotel pool area was extremely small and quickly became overcrowded. During our visit, it got very rowdy — so much so that the front desk staff had to come down before us to talk to a group of unsupervised kids. Later, we had to go back up and ask for help again because older kids were jumping into the tiny pool, despite clearly posted “no jumping” rules. This created a very dangerous situation for the smaller children. Additionally, we noticed missing grout in the pool, which could easily become a safety hazard — especially if a child’s finger got caught and they were pushed or pulled. There was no lifeguard present, and we weren’t the only concerned parents — several others went to the front desk to complain. The water in the water park area was cold and not heated, which made it uncomfortable for younger kids. On a more positive note, the food was good, and the kids did enjoy the surf simulator. However, most of the other attractions seemed geared toward much younger children. Unfortunately, due to the safety concerns and lack of supervision, we won’t be returning.
