About

Family-friendly recreation area boasting slides, pools and a lazy river.

Specific pool temperatures for the Russ McEwen Family Aquatic Center are not consistently published or readily available online. As a standard outdoor summer aquatic facility in Texas, the pools are generally not heated, and their temperature is primarily influenced by ambient weather conditions, offering a refreshing experience to visitors.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The establishment generally receives positive feedback for its affordable $5 admission fee (for ages 3 and up) and clean pools. Many visitors, particularly children, enjoy the slides and overall experience, with a sense of safety provided by ample lifeguards and an active manager. Seating is plentiful, though shaded benches are available for rent. A recurring point of contention is the strict policy against bringing outside food, drinks, or coolers, which is a source of frustration due to the expense of the snack bar and the desire for allowed water. One serious negative incident was reported involving an employee who allegedly stole money and unfairly ejected patrons.

It was a nice place to visit! Admission was $5 per person, and there was plenty of seating. There are benches with shaded areas but you have to rent it. My son really enjoyed himself. There were plenty of lifeguards on duty, and the manager was actively making rounds, which was great to see. *I forgot to take pictures, but the pools looked very clean no leaves or trash anywhere.* Just a heads-up you can’t bring food or drinks inside :( so plan accordingly.

While $5 admission is great, I wish that snacks & drinks were allowed. At least water. I understand the snack bar is a big money maker, but it isn't always affordable to frequently buy drinks, especially for a big group. Shaded picnic tables outside the gate would be a nice addition

Just went to this water park with my son and three grandchildren, 13, 2, 7 mos., they had a blast. They charge $5 per person 3+yrs old, and do not allow outside drink containers, or coolers.

The lady at front doesn’t like me because a dated her sister and because of that she stole $10 from me and my friend on my birthday and they didn’t do anything about it. I can’t believe they hire people like Annalise Rodriquez. Not only did she steal from us she also kicked us out for not having shorts on and the reason we didn’t have shorts on was because we were about to be picked up.
