I grew up in Bismarck and I’ve been a runner since I was little! Bismarck can be such a beautiful place and the trails make running so great! I preface by saying that because every time I come (PAY) to use the amenities an older man is always rude and yells at me. It closes at 7 but every time I go he pushes me out at 650 and blames the students and lifeguards that they have to leave. I asked them (staff) about this and apologized but the young staff reassured me it was the man and not them! He then goes to taunt me and say he’s going to call the cops! It’s 6:58! And he says stuff about having a ride home (I jogged there) I would like to return but if I do and I get harassed again I will not be going there ever again. I will be telling everyone the treatment I get there too. I’m Native American. I’ll be sending emails and calling as well! I attached and photo of the man as well as the time in frame very disappointed do better BSC

We've been here a couple times for swim meets, and it is a beautiful and clean facility for those events. Ample seating on the bleachers, and you can bring your own chair if you prefer to sit underneath the bleachers to remove yourself from the noise for a second. It does get loud when everyone is cheering on their swimmers. There is a wellness center/gym on site as well as a nutritional shake business. Overall a very nice facility.

The BSC Aquatic & Wellness Center offers excellent facilities, particularly for fitness and lap swimming. However, my experience with the management, scheduling, and billing processes left much to be desired. During my membership, there was a miscommunication regarding pool availability, which made it difficult to utilize the facility as intended. When I attempted to address the issue via email in October, my message was either lost or mishandled, leading to delays and frustration. While the staff eventually acknowledged the missing email, there was no apology or meaningful effort to address the impact of this oversight. Additionally, the billing policies and the tone of communication from management felt rigid and dismissive, lacking the kind of customer service and accountability one might expect. These challenges don’t diminish the quality of the physical facility, but they are important factors for anyone considering a membership here. I would recommend the center for its amenities but advise potential members to carefully navigate scheduling, billing, and any communication with management.
