What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this facility are mixed, with significant concerns raised about safety, staff conduct, and facility management. Several reviewers reported highly negative experiences, including lifeguards allegedly making fun of disabled children, and a serious incident where staff and management mishandled a false accusation of goggle theft, leading to children feeling unsafe and threatened. Swim lessons were also criticized for poor technique and the use of unsafe equipment. On the positive side, some appreciated the shallow end for kids, the splash pad, and the snack bar's good prices and nacho cheese. One reviewer found the facility 'nice, not too big' and plans to return. However, there's a general sentiment that the facility needs updating and better staff training and oversight.

Okay this place needs updating ... big time. I had a pool growing up that was just a little smaller than the size of this pool. The pool is L-shaped, and there is a shallow end and a deep end. There is one diving board medium sized. We were only allowed one hour, and the pool session ended. My kids complained and wanted another session but I said we would save it for Rexburg Rapids. The pad at the splash park is okay, better than most. The snack bar has decent prices, and has better nacho cheese than I've had in a long time! Three cheers for 23 years.

The shallow end is great for kids! However, I’m not impressed with swim lessons at all. The teachers used puddle jumpers to have kids jump off the wall. Puddle jumpers are not safe and I paid for my kid to learn to swim (which includes jumping off the wall and fully submerging in water). While doing backfloats, the teachers just have the kids lay on their backs and don’t enforce any technique. Not impressed with the swim lessons at all.

I’m so angry about the service provided here! Absolutely a terrible place to have children swim! I am completely in disarray over the situation my oldest had experienced today at the pool. She’s 17, and took all the younger kids to swim there today. We purchased dollar store goggles for everyone… while at the pool a younger boy started to accuse my youngest girl that she stole goggles from him. Her googles were pink and purple, very unlikely for a younger boy to pick for himself. The entire time they were there this boy followed them around saying he was going to cause physical harm by punching my child. My oldest tried to get help from the adult with him, but she was completely ignored. Then, the manager of the pool came to my children and told they needed proof that those googles belong to them, and they were not allowed to leave. My oldest knowing this was wrong, told them no, and tried to leave the pool due to feeling unsafe and uncomfortable. This situation was not handled properly or professionally in any manner whatsoever!! Do better! That was not the way to handle that situation, I’m so angry! How can you treat children like that! Putting them in a position where they are scared for their safety and over a misunderstanding from an accusations of another child... seriously unacceptable.
