What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool offers a generally fun experience, particularly on hot summer days, with features like a slide to deep water (11-12ft), a gradually sloping main pool, and a cute, gated kid area suitable for younger children. However, several reviews highlight significant drawbacks: it can be extremely busy and loud due to large daily summer programs or special events, making a relaxing visit difficult. Staff responsiveness is a concern, with reports of unhelpful service regarding lost items and lifeguards not reacting promptly to incidents in the children's area. Parking, especially for school buses, is described as very poor. Visitors should also note limited food options (vending machines only) and specific daily hours for sensory swim, pass holders, and public access.

Had a great time, was a little bit busier than usual due to Bloomington Parks & Recreation being there, but other than that, a great place to swim, and have fun, there is a slide which leads you to 12ft deep waters, and the area next to it is 11ft. And a kid area on the side of the main pool areas. Great for a hot summer day!
Nice general pool! Has a cute kid area to play in that is gated off so you can relax while the kiddos play (5 and under), and the pool itself has a nice gradual slope before heading to the deep end. Bring your own food as they only have minor vending machines there. Pay attention to the pool hours. They have sensory swim at 10, pass holders can come at 11, and the pool opens to the public at 12.
They were blaring music and I don't know if it was streaming or radio but there were a bunch of ads. I came here to relax and get away from all that. And there is some kind of summer program where there has been at least 100 kids (no I'm not exaggerating) being hosted at this park. I could see that being a once a week thing but they're there every day! I guess that's not the pools fault but the public should be aware if they're coming here thinking they will have a relaxing time.
Left an important personal item there (my glasses) and when I called to ask if anyone had turned them in, the staff didn’t even let me finish speaking before telling me they were too busy to bother looking. Not a great end to an experience where we left after my 20 month old daughter was choking on water after slipping in the toddler pool and I had to flip her upside down to get the pool water out since the lifeguard didn’t even bother to look our direction. Not quite sure if I’d return.
Basic small waterpark. Main negative is no decent parking for school busses either on-site or close by. A regular school bus is extremely challenged to navigate the small circular drop-off area. Small south parking lot has only one entrance. Parking a bus on the street is literally impossible as well.
