The Counsilman-Bill Garrett Aquatic Center, which is part of the same SRSC complex, houses several pools. The 25-Yard Lap Pool (Leisure Pool) maintains a typical temperature of 80-82°F. The 50-Meter Lap Pool (Competition Pool) and the Diving Well are usually kept at 78-80°F, while the hot tub's temperature is typically 102-104°F.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility offers good workout spaces, including a well-equipped weightlifting gym, renovated basketball courts, and an indoor running track, with friendly and helpful staff. However, common complaints include poor air circulation leading to stuffiness, crowding in the weightlifting gym due to classes, and very busy basketball courts with long wait times, particularly in the evenings. There are also concerns about slow maintenance for equipment. The facility is open to the public for $10/day but closes for the summer, directing users to another campus facility.

I like the facilities however I think it's negligent of management to keep the building shut without allowing any outside air to circulate into the building. It's incredibly stuffy inside of the building. There are a few garage type of doors on either side of the fieldhouse that should remain open. Instead it's shut off trapping heat inside that has no place to escape to.
Nice workout space, lots of machines and space, walking track was not too busy and all the employees were cheerful and helpful. Open to the public $10 per day. Closed for the summer but they have another facility on campus that is open.
I use the weight lifting gym on the bottom level every morning. Because they close it for classes, it can be crowded when it’s open. However, it still has all of the equipment one would want in a traditional strength training gym. The staff are really friendly down the, and I’ve found myself having really cool conversations with them.
Nicely done renovated gym. There are a lot more basketball courts in the gym now. Most of the time, classes are held here but after around 6pm, it is used by the students. Waiting time to get on the court to play other people can be 3 teams deep on almost all courts after 7pm. Normally always busy here.
Good gym. Not crowded. Could use some more regular maintenance (a torn cable takes over a month to be fixed) but otherwise great, and with a unique indoors running track.
