What are people saying (AI review summary)? This destination is highly regarded as a favorite for camping and getting away from civilization, with many visitors making it an annual tradition. Guests consistently praise the incredible, kind, and helpful staff and camp hosts. The campground itself is described as beautiful with well-maintained spots, and a creek runs through it, offering a fun (albeit cold) place to play. The hot springs, warm springs pool, and plunge pool are frequently highlighted as wonderful, clean, and enjoyable, with specific features like a warmer mineshaft entrance noted. Other appreciated amenities include clean daily-serviced bathrooms/outhouses, hiking trails, and convenient features like a dryer. While the location offers a great escape, some common points of feedback include campsites being too close together, a lack of hookups for campers (which some feel doesn't justify the price), and the drive to the location being challenging, especially with a trailer, although one review notes future road improvements. Despite these minor issues, most reviewers enthusiastically recommend the place and express a desire to return.

The only thing I didn't like about this place was how close the campsites are to each other. Felt like most of the spots were so close you could sneeze on your neighbor. Other than that, my wife and I loved the place. The spots were well taken care of, the staff was incredible, the creek runs through the entire campground, there are some incredible hiking trails around the area, the bathrooms were cleaned daily, and the hot spring was nice and not too hot. I don't necessarily think the price was justified, especially since the campsites have no hookups for campers. But if you're ok without the hookups and space, I recommend this place.
Our family reserved camper spots for a large family camping get together. Our spots were nice, well maintained. The pool was wonderful. I didn't want to get out. I would love to return. Totally worth the trip. Thank you.
This is our absolute favorite place to go camping and it has become an annual tradition for us. The camp hosts and employees are so nice!! The warm springs pool is very clean. The campground is beautiful. The creek is fun (but cold) to play in as well. My kids love to ride their bikes on the paved road in the campground. It's a bit hard to drive to, especially with a trailer, but it's worth it!!
Came on a Tuesday in May, and not many people were there throughout the couple hours we soaked. The pool and surrounding area is nice, I loved the original mineshaft entrance because it was warmer. I enjoyed having that small inside space to sit. I wish the changing space had more separation. The outhouse was nicer for an outhouse. They had a dryer you could use which was convenient. The staff were kind and helpful! I enjoyed all of the things you could use in the pool like the tubes. The surrounding area was also beautiful
You want to get away from civilization? This is the place. The plunge pool is pretty cool. I like the guy who runs the place. We've gone here for years, and we will still go here for years. As of twenty twenty five, the u s forest service has made the road in to silver creek smooth as glass.
