I am 42 and have three kids age 7, 10 and 12. We all absolutely love Water Wizz. We got season tickets in 2025 and visited nine times this summer. Every single time, the kids were fine staying in the park for 6+ hours. They did not get bored all day. My wife and I first came in 2017 with a 4 and a 2 year old. We've been coming back every year, except for the pandemic. The thing I love most about this park is that it has activities for all ages. The smaller wading pools are fun and safe for under age 2, while the big drops are still not boring for me today - and my wife won't get near them! They say all fun things are illegal, immoral, or fattening - Water Wizz is super fun and it is none of these. Now, to the drawbacks. One, the place has lots of kids! If you hate kids, you will be better off on an adults-only cruise, cause I don't think you'll ever find a water park without kids. Two, Water Wizz is not disability-friendly. None of the water slides have wheelchair-accessible ramps or elevators. Three, food is overpriced, which it always is at water parks. Bring your lunch in a cooler and your wallet will thank you. Lastly, you have to be smart about the lines. If you go on the slides at 2pm on a sunny Saturday in late July, and Sunday is forecast to be rainy - of course, the place will be packed, you'll be stuck waiting 30+ minutes in line, you will hate it and your kids will whine and hate it. So one, rope drop! Show up at 9:50 before the place opens - this also really helps with getting a free table. Get as many rides in as you can between 10 and 11. Once the lines get long, switch to the wave pool and Herring Run River, cause these don't have lines. Also, know where to go! The Canal has insane lines, because there is only one slide and the ride is 45 seconds. On a busy day, do it only once, first thing in the morning. Squid Row is only a little better, because everyone always wants to do the more thrilling enclosed side. Thunder Falls has the shortest lines, and Devil's Peak usually isn't terrible either, if you're into it. Lastly, if you go when the weather is borderline (warm but cloudy, or a small chance of rain), or if you come during early or late season, the crowd will be thin and you'll be able to ride all you want. In short, Water Wizz is one of those few places that are fun for kids without being boring for the parents. In the summer there is no better family-friendly place in the state.
Last time I visited Water Wizz I was 7 years old, currently 24! This place was just how I remembered it, I had so much fun and got on all slides. Got there arround noon, no lines to get in the park, but we parked in the second parking (10 min walk). We paid $15 for our locker, used card to buy food and snacks.
Not a fan at all. After going to water country last week, I was not impressed with water wizz. I chose it because it’s about an hour closer than water country and reviews seemed good. I’ll take the extra hour ride next time. Park seems so outdated and dirty. The lines are insane. Not enough to do there for the price. Definitely a waste of money.💵
We visited today, 8/17/25. I bought tickets, a cabana and a cooler pass online. The price of the ticket and cabana were steep for what you get. The park is kind of dingy and definitely needs an upgrade… don’t trust the pictures online they are not accurate or recent. The cabana we got on river run was $200 and it says grass but it’s mostly dirt from all the traffic overtime. Plus they were at capacity (which is far too many people in my opinion). so on top of all the money we already spent, we then had to rent tubes ($10) a tube to be able to bypass the lines which were ridiculously long. I know we came on a Sunday but it was ridiculously crowded, too crowded to even enjoy. I personally would never come back here.
We rented a cabin and paid a lot to stay without any view, very uncomfortable, I tried to change and spoke to the manager who didn't care, I didn't even stay where we rented because it was horrible. The map showed a place that had the pool in front. I paid a lot for my family to have comfort, I don't recommend it to anyone. I put one star because I can’t put 0
