The majority of reviews for Lone Mountain Gymnastics are negative, highlighting significant issues with customer service, staff professionalism, and rigid policies. Common complaints include rude and unhelpful staff, particularly in swim lessons where instructors were criticized for not engaging young children or for removing them for age-appropriate behavior. Many customers reported difficulties obtaining refunds for accidental enrollments, classes where children were removed, or due to illness, often citing strict 'non-refundable' policies. Communication issues, such as unreturned calls and conflicting information, were also frequent. One reviewer reported being double-charged after rescheduling due to illness and subsequently being turned away from camp despite their children being symptom-free. I have heard nothing but good things about this gymnastics school, but would highly not recommend. Our first experience was joining a swim lesson in May. My son has been in private swim lesson for over a year prior to this and is a great swimmer. On our first day, the teacher did not introduce herself and did not do anything to help my son feel welcome and safe. He ended up leaving the class halfway through because the teacher refused to include him. It may be worth your time to teach your swim instructors how to treat children and toddlers. I understand the class starts at the beginning of the school year, but it's no excuse for the rude behavior by the staff. I took a chance and signed my son up for summer camp. A week prior to summer camp, Lone Mountain sent a notice saying, "If your child is young, timid or is unfamiliar with Lone Mountain, we suggest that you visit ahead of time. We are happy to give tours, speak to your child, introduce them to teachers, etc." I called the week I got this email and left a message. No phone call back. Called the morning of camp a total of 6 times trying to see if we could come early. Left one message after I was sick on no one answering. Finally, got a return phone call which stated that I should have just shown up at 8, even though the email says that camp guests shouldn't show up more than 15 minutes ahead of time, again verbatim per email. I offered to see if he could switch to a camp later this summer to which I was told it was "against policy." I asked to have the owner call me to which I was abruptly hung up on. Unprofessional behavior, will not be returning or recommending.

So disappointed in my child’s experience here. I had him enrolled in swim lessons and after the first class they told me he could no longer return because he was hanging on the island a few times durning class, he is 3 years old. They were rude and made me and my child feel very uncomfortable. The icing on top is they told me he couldn’t take the class and that they were not going to refund my money for the rest of the camp sessions to come. Such a waste of money. There are many better options for swim lessons for your child.

would not recommend. My daughter takes gym classes with them and she is on the younger side and they complain how she doesn't listen. Obviously a 3 year old still needs to learn how to listen to stranger after she's only been with me, maybe if they can deal with it they shouldn't have classes that allow 3 year olds in it by themselves. Also I signed up both of my kids for swim classes and by mistake I did enroll my kid in an extra class and they wouldn't refund them after I have been there for months and always paid in time and obviously was going to enroll them in more but not after this we will just finish this summer session and than never again.

If I could give this place zero stars I would.I signed my girls up for the combo camp and they got the stomach flu (vomiting and diarrhea). I emailed lone mountain over the weekend and let them know and asked if we could roll over our enrollment to the next open week. They were super accommodating and pushed them until their next available week and thennnn I saw my credit card statement. They charged me AGAIN! So naturally I thought it was a mistake, so I called. When I called, the women who identified herself as the manager, told me that there was nothing they could do and all deposits and enrollments were non refundable. I told her that there was nothing I could do, my kids were actively throwing up and I am still doing camp with them, just another week. Also, at the time of rolling over our enrollment no consent was asked to recharge my card. She said she was sorry but there was nothing they could do. This is not how you run a business. Even during the school year they offer make-up classes. Will not be using this gym, my girls will find other hobbies. Update: The owner did refund the deposit for the July camp, which I appreciate. But since we already paid for the June camp and they couldn’t ROLL over the enrollment to another week and my kids had been symptom free for DAYS, I decided to get some of what I paid for. So after four days symptom free, I took her to camp and it was very clear that the staff had pre-coordinated to turn me away at the door. When I tried to appeal to the owner she kept saying that my daughter wasn’t 24hrs symptom free because that was what was communicated to her from the front desk (I was the one communicating with the front desk all week). This is obviously a company that does not value their clients. Companies that don’t value their clients don’t stay in business for very long. Hope another gym moves into the valley, it won’t take much to win over customers from lone mountain.

We have enjoyed the two locations of Lone Mountain Gymnastics. The kids take swimming lessons at one site and enjoy the ninja course at the other. The staff at both locations are very knowledgeable and great with kids of all ages.
