What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Nest Bar & Grill, located at the Viceroy, offers a beautiful pool and bar area with a sophisticated ambiance, often praised for its fantastic cocktails and attentive bartenders, like Jonathan. While some find the food great and portion sizes good, others report it as lackluster with issues such as stale ingredients, undercooked items, and poor quality, though the chicken quesadilla was a positive highlight. Service receives mixed to predominantly negative reviews, with many guests experiencing overwhelmed, inattentive, and slow staff, extending to management, though the valet staff are consistently noted as helpful. An additional drawback is construction noise in the vicinity, which can detract from the relaxing atmosphere.

Located within the Viceroy at Snowmass, we have been to the Nest Bar & Grill the last two summers. While the pool and bar area is very beautiful and the service is great, the area is not as relaxing as it could be due to all of the construction going on next door. Just keep that in mind when you visit. Otherwise, this is a nice sophisticated spot for a drink.
Fantastic cocktails. Our bartender Jonathan was so attentive and made me the perfect mojito. Great portion sizes (especially for the cost). Beautiful patio and pool. Would love to spend an entire day here sipping drinks in the future
Stopped in for lunch after traveling in. Service was fine but the food was lackluster. My wife had the salad. She stated the greens didn’t look great and she felt sick later. My daughter had the kids grilled cheese and fries. The fries came out half cooked and tasted like they were 40 degrees. The best food we had were the chicken quesadilla.
Each time I’m here I laugh at how all of the staff seem overwhelmed even though they’re are at maybe 10 percent of the capacity. I’ve never been greeted here. When I ask for something from bartender or server I get a hasty mumbling response, and then they return to whatever they were not doing. Most recent lunch here was: Lobster Roll $21 - Lobster was good but not picked clean of shell and cartilage - Hoagie roll was stale, rock hard and inedible. I’d have asked for a replacement but that would have taken 30 more minutes. If you’re looking to depart at a certain time your best bet is to ask for your check as soon as you’re done ordering your last item. Unfortunately the service is like this across the board including front desk staff. The management are the worst of the bunch. The only helpful staff I’ve encountered here are the valet staff.
Amazing spot for lunch or Apres, the staff is amazing and the food is great
