Kid-friendly swimming pool complex offering a splash zone, a waterslide and diving boards.
Specific pool temperatures for the Hillcrest Aquatic Center are not publicly listed on their official website or other readily available sources. As an outdoor recreational facility, the water temperature typically varies with ambient weather conditions.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Hillcrest Aquatic Center generally receives positive feedback for its well-maintained and clean facilities, crystal-clear pools, and friendly staff. Visitors appreciate the good value, ample space, and dedicated areas for different age groups, including fun waterslides for older children, extensive splash zones, and a huge zero-depth pool for younger kids, making it an ideal spot for families. However, some common criticisms include issues with the sound system quality (crackling, uneven projection), strict rules regarding flotation devices for non-swimmers (which some feel contradict website information and question lifeguard training), and various restrictions on pool activities such as no pool toys, specific slide postures, limited bounces on diving boards, and perceived arbitrary lifeguard actions.

Nice pool, well maintained. Decent price for the value. Waterslides were fun for the middle kids, and the youngers loved the extensive splash zone!
My recent visit to the Hillcrest Aquatic Center was an absolute delight. This pool offers everything you'd want for a perfect day under the sun. The facilities are clean, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. The pool itself is well-maintained, with crystal-clear water that's just the right temperature for a refreshing swim. Whether you're lounging by the side or doing laps, there's tons of space for everyone to enjoy. One minor downside, however, was the sound system. While the pool plays a great selection of music, the sound quality could be improved. It's clear they're trying to create a fun ambiance, but the speakers occasionally crackled or didn't project sound evenly across the pool area. For those who enjoy some background music while swimming or relaxing, this could be a bit disappointing. That being said, this is easily remedied, and I would highly recommend Hillcrest Aquatic Center to anyone looking for a day of aquatic enjoyment. It's an ideal spot for families, couples, or even solo visitors seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of the community. Just remember to bring your own tunes if you're particular about sound quality!
Awesome swimming pool with separate zero depth pool that is huge for young kids. This is a great swimming pool for family's.
This place might be great if they allowed kids that can't swim flotation devices. Even though in the site it say under certain circumstances they are alowed to use them is this isnt circumstances then what is. They said it is because their lifeguards are not trained to save someone with flotation devices. If your lifeguards are trained adequately then they should not be a lifeguard. If your lifeguard isn't smart enough to get the person above water with a flotation device then they shouldn't be a lifeguard.
Fun other when the lifeguards kick me out for no reason. You can't have any pool toys in the water. You should be able to go down the slides head first or backwards. More than 1 bounce on diving boards. Should be able to castaway on diving boards and not get kicked out because of it. Also there should be a time when people can swim in the deep end
