What are people saying (AI review summary)? The water park in Madison, SD receives mixed, but largely positive, reviews. Many visitors praise its cleanliness, inviting atmosphere, and the professionalism of its staff. Families particularly enjoy the variety of attractions, including water slides for different age groups, a splash pad, a large children's pool with numerous features, a lily pad crossing, and a diving board, making it an enjoyable experience for kids. Some reviewers also highlighted affordable snacks and accommodating lifeguards, with several expressing intent to return and purchase season passes. However, some concerns were noted. A few visitors found the admission prices (both daily and season pass) to be high, especially considering the limited operating hours (1 PM to 6 PM). There was conflicting feedback on snack prices, with one reviewer finding them too expensive and another stating they were affordable. A common point of criticism was the perceived strictness of lifeguards regarding rules such as no splashing, running, height requirements, and restrictions on items like floaties, life jackets, squirt guns, and swim shirts, which some felt hindered children's enjoyment. Another minor issue raised was the placement of the sandbox too close to the pool, resulting in sand being tracked into the water.

I am new to Madison and I must say this is one of the most friendliest and well maintained water park I have been to. The facility workers are very professional. I will definitely enjoy bringing my family to this pool in the many warm days to come.
Kids enjoyed it. Pricing is a bit high for admission. $6 a day or $75 for a season pass. That's a lot for most families to pay. Not to mention, it doesn't open until 1pm and closes at 6pm. 5hrs for $6! That's not even talking about snacks, drinks or anything else. $2.50 for a candy bar way too much!
So clean and inviting. The snacks we're very affordable. The lifeguards let me wear my "special sandals "I can't walk without into the water!!!! (They were VERY CLEAN) WE CANNOT WAIT till summer and are getting a season pass this time. One of the best things in Madison SD !!!!
This place is incredible! Water slides for big and little kids, splash pad, massive kid pool with lots of water features, lilly pad crossing and of course a diving board. We had so much fun here and will definitely be going back.
It's okay. Wish the sandbox was away from the pool. It's so disgusting when kids don't wash off and just jump in pool full of sand. I think the life guards are too strict. (Don't splash, don't run, you have to be this height , no floaties, no life jackets, no squirt guns,no swim shirts ) let kids be kids!!
