However, there are significant and frequent complaints regarding cleanliness and maintenance, particularly concerning the pool area (dirty water, causing skin irritation, cold temperatures, unbalanced chemicals) and bathrooms (unclean, lack of towels). Several guests reported extremely poor conditions in hotel rooms, citing pervasive dirt, mold, broken fixtures, unhygienic bedding, and security concerns. Staff presence and professionalism also received inconsistent feedback, though one guest did report a good room and service for a brief stay.
Reviews
Hotel room was very nasty dust, dirt, shredded cheese, and garbage still in our room carpet was nasty. Mold in the bath tub along all edges tiles broken shower head barely hanging on. Bedding had holes in pillows were horrible and nasty. Doors do not lock to the outdoor public anyone can just can walk in. No staff. Janitor was horrible pool area was nasty I never took my shoes off. Flys and fruit flys everywhere. And the garage never got taken out. Pool was cold and very unprofessionaly taken care off chemicals were way out of balance.
We just got a room to get off the highway. Good service, nice room.
Good place for kids to burn off some energy. Can be a tad bit loud from the screams of joy and laughter. Could use a little more maintenance, but it's a fun place for the kids, and it is affordable.
The pool is not the best. It's not the cleanest looking. My kids came away with several scratches from playing, and they were really itchy from the water. The bathrooms were not the greatest and they didn't have towels clean when we took the kids down to swim, so we had to walk back to our room wet and cold.
This is the best indoor water park in brookings. It is currently under new management but they seem to be keeping it pretty much the same. My kids always have a good time and I can sit in the hot tub and easily watch them from my veiwpoint
