Fabulous swimming pool and water park! Very clean and well-managed. Prices are reasonable. Food is available on site. Well staffed. A good place for families and older adults.
Great place to take the kids during summer break. We love it here!
This park is fun ! All though life guards be cussing etc very rude but the life guards are chill love them they can be pretty nice ! But could be rude as a joke. That make it lose one star the other star leaves because one of the managers came and kicked everyone out the shower when no one was being loud or anything, that pissed me off a lot because why are you gonna have showers and not let people be in there ! 3/5 for my official rating 4/5 for the pool this pool is amazing but sometimes not that clean especially when their was poop in the pool and when there was a BLOODY tampon in the pool and they were all messing around instead of actually trying to get it (lifeguards). Do better please
I really like this pool. I like the layout, the picnic tables with umbrellas, the restroom had tp and seemed clean, the snack shack offered a variety of yummy treats. My concern as a parent was seeing several lifeguards seemingly distracted from their role. One had his head turned and was playing rock, paper, scissors, another was out of his chair what appeared to be playing around, and several walked the grounds, playing football, doing handstands, and playing what i would describe as spinning and racing. The several walking may have been off clock or on break or just back-up. I also noticed during the 15 minute break, many lifeguards took to diving which might be fine but if they are clowning around or jumping in before another is to the side, well kids are watching and it may appear 'rules for thee, not for me.' This is a wonderful place and I'm thankful the staff are there and spending their summer working so others can enjoy the facility but I do think the sheer amount of fun on the job could be a distraction from watching for a patron in need should an emergency occur.
I was told so many BAD things before we went! I've been told that there's needles laying around, it's dirty, ECT. But I found EVERYTHING to be the exact opposite! The pool is extremely clean! Every person I came across was super friendly! My kids each met a little friend to play with. All the kids seemed to be patient & well parented! The lifeguards were on top of making sure everyone was following all the rules, proving that everyone's safety was extremely important! It's a very big place so knowing all the rules wasn't just something you should expect to just know, but there was always someone right there that was happy to explain anything you needed to know & they did it pleasantly! I felt as if I were "The one" to bother them the most, but you would have never known from their reactions! My 7 yr old did get "lost" (for a whole 5 seconds) but as we started to split up to look for her, here she came walking hand in hand with 3 lifeguards, they were extremely happy to of helped her find us! I was super thankful & they were extremely kind about the whole thing! (Considering we believe she got "lost" just so she make "friends" with the lifeguards! My little girl said "Mom I think to get a job here, you have to be pretty" lol I had to agree, everyone there was extremely beautiful! lol IF I HAD to find something to complain about it would be; 1. In the (extremely clean) bathroom, other than the stalls, there's nowhere "private" to change. 2. The concession stand didn't have much. There was no pizza, which I get coming off of a holiday, but the very few things they did actually have they wasn't able to serve bc it wasn't "Warm ENUF" & would take about 10 more min. Ik that doesn't seem like very long, but when you're in a situation where you don't have much time, when you have hungry kids & there's not much to serve as it is.... You'd think they'd have it ready to go. 3. The slides are super fun, BUT the green slide could have been more fun if it wasn't set up the way it is. It's already in extremely shallow water (perfect for the little kids , esp the little kids that's not big ENUF to do the big slides) There's like a piece of tape at the bottom of the pool showing where no one can go in order for someone to go down the slide. The 1st time I went, a little girl was inside that line & afraid I was going to kick her or whatever, I tensed up & turned to avoid kicking her & it was just not fun. So I went again with 2 of my little girls when I realized they were way far in front of me so again worried I would kick/hurt 1 of them I tensed up & I did in fact kick both of them, hitting my bottom really hard on the bottom of the pool & landing on top of my 10 yr old. I am still extremely sore, having trouble getting around, even just sitting & waking up thru the night due to the pain. I don't feel that as an adult or even a "bigger" child should be able to do. Overall PERFECT DAY! WILL DEFINITELY be going again & again really SOON! Especially for as cheap as admission is! $8 for adults, $5 for kids to get into (what I called) The knockoff Zoombezi Bay! Super PERFECT!!!
