What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews present a mixed perspective on the facility. Positive aspects frequently mentioned include very friendly and helpful staff, clean and well-maintained facilities, and a good variety of activities such as swimming, classes, and hot tub access, with some noting it's not overly busy even during peak hours. Personal training services are also highlighted as affordable and effective. However, significant negative feedback includes a family's frustrating experience with high membership costs, unexpected facility closures (pool), restricted access (playground due to daycare use) for a young child, and unsuitable alternative activities, leading to disappointment regarding the facility's family-friendliness and membership value. Other criticisms point to issues in the gym area, specifically a lack of benches, crowded free-weight space, and cold temperatures. Additionally, one reviewer expressed dissatisfaction over the facility's non-participation in the Silver Sneakers program for seniors. A minor suggestion was for more diverse exercise machines.

I am very confused at what's going on at this place. I started my membership back up adding my 5 year old son. I wanted to have a place to go on his summer vacation to do things. Plus I want him to learn to swim. I paid $99 to start my membership plus $67 for our monthly premium, plus $45 for swimming lessons. So we go there to go swimming and pool is down all week for cleaning, but you can go play basketball. My 5 year old . Not even close to the basket. So we decided to go outside to their play ground to have a lady tell us that we had to leave because day care is using it. I said but we are members and she said it didn't matter. I am confused at this point and my son is hurt. So we go back in and the girl at the desk said sorry but he can't play there, but I can give you a basketball for the gym. My 5 year old, again not even close to the basket. Place use to be family oriented. What happened over the last 10 years since my last membership. I am confused. Please help me to be able to understand how you can hurt a little boys feelings over a play ground?
Great local YMCA! They have everything we need and staff are always kind and friendly. The personal training services are affordable and Luke is awesome!
This gym was disappointing. There are not enough benches. They have a lot of free-weights but no space to use them. The equipment is clustered into a very small footprint so it feels like everyone is on top of each other. Its very cold in specifically the gym area. The basketball courts were nice and staff was friendly though.
We love the Y but they dont participate in Silver Sneakers for Seniors. I wish they would.
I have never enjoyed a gym so much. Lovely facilities, always clean. The staff is always friendly, kind and helpful. Love to workout, swim hot tub, and take classes here. Even during peak hours, I never find it overwhelmingly busy. If I could ask for anything, maybe a few more types of machines, but I can always supplement with weights. Really enjoyable setting for health and fitness.
