Life guards on duty were very attentive to everyone present. Pool was clean and very large. We were very happy with our first Pickens pool experience!

The hours of this facility as well as the cutoff point being the first day of school was just ridiculous. They should put more effort into having a longer hours during the summer time when days last until 9:00 p.m. and the rental fees seem absurd for 2 hours 80 bucks? I mean come on it's not even peak hours the time they give you for rentals there's like from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and they're charging top dollar for that. Something needs to change

So the pool is ok. We arrived at 11 when they opened and the kids had a great time. However after about 20 minutes I noticed that the teenage life guard was sleeping on the guard chair. There were no actual adults supervising the staff and I have concerns that with no adults supervising the teen life guards how long will it be before there is a tragedy. Yes as a parent it's NY responsibility to watch my kids but if the teen employees can't take it seriously then send them packing
