If your of color don’t recommend coming to this pool. The lifeguards picked on my daughter and friends for doing the exact same thing everyone else does but since they are white never once were they told or blown a whistle too. They weren’t even doing anything dangerous but being kids. Do better!
Loved our visit to Bay Hundred Community Pool! 💦 Beautiful, spotless, and super friendly vibe. Found it on the Funfull app so it was free—can’t beat that! We went Friday for an hour but could’ve stayed all day.
Great space and they have lifeguards on duty - a walk in "kiddie " area and a slide as well as a regular "deep end" area.
Sweet little public pool. We parked in the back of the adjoining elementary school. Don't know if that was right! Lots of places to set your things in the shade. Definitely a family pool. A little slide. Sprinklers. Not overly crowded. Clean. Kind lifeguards.
The lifeguards i must note are on the ball. Its nice to see the younger generation taking their jobs this seriously. It seems they have 15min shifts, two guards, one standing above the pool at all times, eyes on the most vulnerable swimmers, the other in the guard seat of ehat apoears to be 3 who rotate. This is the best safe practice, as far as I'm aware and its worth the small entrance fee .
