We had to cancel our reservation last-minute due to a family medical emergency, and the park management showed incredible empathy and understanding. Even though it was outside their cancellation policy, they kindly worked with us. That level of compassion means so much—thank you! In addition, the park looks spacious when lots of spaces that have shady trees, and check in was easy and fast.

Booked for two nights and pulled out 15 minutes after arriving! Site was full of sand spurs. Stepped out of truck and walked to hook up and had two shoes full of sand spurs. I got in truck and canceled our stay immediately. Last time we experienced these spurs it took months to get them out of everything. Shoes, Carpet , towels and car. Beware, this place does not think its a problem so they don't take care of them! This trip cost me $130 for cancelation and a pair of good shoes.

Val Shop

Close to a busy road and very loud. Grounds need love, overgrown in some areas, pot holes, peeling paint, just sad overall. Looks like this place was great 50 years ago. Women's bathrooms we're excellent. Men's bathrooms we're dirty. This place has MANY long-term residents. At around 6pm I couldn't count the amount of giant trucks that kept pulling in one after the other. Felt like a very male dominated RV park. Laundry was 3.75! To wash and dry.

Supermama Z

This was our first time at Carlsbad, NM. We wanted to take our camper for a long weekend. We just love having our own home with the girls on the road. They kids feel safe, comfortable, and have all their things in the camper. This RV PARK WAS TOP NOTCH! We arrived after they closed. The email they sent was literally step-by-step on what to do, and how to find our site. They had an envelope with key cards, a map that highlighted the way to our RV SPOT. The dog parks were so nice. The fence all around the property was so nice. We felt very safe and secure. I love the gate closed at 5pm, and the only way in was with your key card. It was clean, the rv sights were big and had alot of room around. We LOVED IT SO MUCH. IT WAS SO QUIET 😶, PEACEFUL, and a true "getaway" vibe. We will definitely be back and will stay here again! The BEST EXPERIENCE.

RV site with 3 kids in tow. This is a GREAT RV Park; staff was super friendly, and the kids LOVED the indoor pool. They have a really nice community room, as well as great laundry facility. Their website advertises a shorter distance to Carlsbad Caverns then is accurate - it's closer to 25 minutes, but this RV Park is a bazillion times nicer than the one in White's City, so the extra minutes of travel is totally worth it.
