This is a great place to stay if you’re on a budget and want to stay close to the Caverns. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a refrigerator and microwave in each room, as well as a hair dryer. There are no room phones and be sure to bring your cell phone chargers. Also beware that some outlets may be connected to the light switch. I turned off the lights for bed and woke up to a dead phone and watch. Three pillows per bed, comfy, blackout curtains. Complimentary breakfast includes prepackaged muffins, individual cups of cereal, and fresh fruit, as well as juice, milk and coffee. Excellent experience overall!

Comfortable for the night. The location is convenient and the area very quiet. Rooms are clean and well kept but this isn't a fancy or new hotel. Beds are firm and with pillows that are thick but plush/soft. The pool/ waterpark area from afar looked like something children would really enjoy although the water slides are only open when a lifeguard is on duty. Overall a good experience.

Don’t expect a plush, high end spot, but if you want a clean and comfortable room at a great price that is minutes to Carlsbad Caverns, this is the place to stay. No frills but it does have a pool and small water park. Breakfast is included but it’s just cereal and packaged muffins. The staff was extremely accommodating. The room showed its age but it was clean and everything worked. It had a fridge and microwave. We were very pleased and would stay here again.

It’s not fancy but it is conveniently located near Carlsbad Caverns. The staff are very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included, light fare like cereal and muffins. We camped at the nearby RV park/campground several years ago and had a good experience there as well.

Five Stars because it suited our needs perfectly. Walked into the room that was already nice and cool with the air conditioner. As was noted before there is an “old motel“ slight smell, which we only noticed upon the entrance. Beds very comfortable. Did notice that some of the outlets were not working, which are so necessary for recharging and Cpap’s, etc. microwave and refrigerator included. Breakfast offerings in the lobby were cereal, milk, juices, muffins, coffee, and apples and oranges. This is the only hotel adjacent to the Carlsbad caverns so it’s highly recommended convenience for going in the evening to see the bat flight, and then in the morning for your cave hike. Shaded a swimming pool area also provided. Excellent location and reasonable prices too.
