What are people saying (AI review summary)? This public aquatic facility, generally free (though some reviews hint it might not always be), operates from mid-June to mid-August. It features a splash pad, a 1-foot deep little kid pool, and a larger pool (3 to 6.5 feet deep), all with lifeguards on duty. The splash pad water is noted as cold, while both pools are heated, which is appreciated on cooler days but can feel too warm on very hot days. The splash pad is safely gated to prevent toddlers from wandering towards the deeper pool. Other amenities include small restroom/locker rooms and a snack bar, but patrons should bring their own chairs as none are provided. Reviewers uniformly praise it as an enjoyable, updated, and well-maintained place for families to spend several hours, accommodating children of various ages.
Reviews
Open mid June to mid August, the splash pad, little kid pool (1' deep), and big pool (3' to 6' 6'' deep) are free to the public with lifeguards on duty. The water at the splash pad was cold and the water in the pools is heated, which is nice on a cooler day but can feel too warm on a hot day. There are not any chairs around the pool or the splash pad, so bring a camp chair if you want to sit to watch your kids. I appreciate that the splash pad is gated in to keep toddlers from wandering and they don't have easy access to the bigger pool. Definitely an enjoyable place to spend a couple hours. There are small restroom/locker rooms and a snack bar as well.
Love this place, but I liked it even as a child. I wish they'd go back to being a free swimming pool, though
A free outdoor pool and splash pad in Casper? Yes please! (At least free for this summer). The facility is updated and the splash pad is brand new. I was surprised to find the wading pool and swimming pool were heated. It was only 50 degrees outside, but my kids stayed in the heated pool for about 3 hours. We are looking forward to coming to this pool each week all summer. (Pool hours 1-5 p.m., splash pad has longer hours).
The boys had so much fun. They have a tots pool that my 3 yr old loves and 14 ur old gets his pe time in. I love that they're inside-out mermen in training 😜 we all had a blast on the splash pad as well.
This is a nice pool with a splash pad at no cost to us, which is a great help if you have several kids or need to take them to cool off for a bit in the afternoon or last minute. The splash pad is open every day from 10-7, the pool is only open from 10-5 M-Sat.
