This public pool garners mixed reviews, generally praised as a fun and suitable place for families and toddlers, featuring enjoyable slides and friendly staff. Recent updates include new pieces in the toddler area. Many appreciate the availability of shaded seating. However, significant criticisms revolve around cleanliness, with multiple reports of disgusting and cloudy pool water containing debris like bandages, lashes, and bugs, suggesting a lack of proper cleaning. The restrooms and changing areas are consistently described as needing deep cleaning, smelling of soured urine, and requiring upgrades, including functional doors. Other common complaints include a lack of sufficient shade and tables, limited and pricey concession stand options, difficulties with card payments (making cash necessary), and restrictions on bringing outside food or drinks. Some reviews also noted late opening hours (1 PM) and a desire for more slides. Concerns about cleanliness are so high that some reviewers threaten to report conditions to public health authorities if improvements are not made.

This pool is so cool for toddlers, and the slide is so much fun for us. Unfortunately, it was my first time visiting, and my family and I were shocked by how disgusting the pool was because we saw bandages, lashes, and bugs floating around. The water is very cloudy, which means they're not cleaning properly. It must be that the people working there are lazy and never bother to clean up. I It's disappointing because we really like this public pool - it's perfect for us. Next time I’ll take pictures to proof that they need to improve or we'll have to report it to the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) because it’s not safe for kids if the pool isn’t cleaned properly immediately. We will definitely come back if they do their job better immediately.
4 star bc the place needs a deep cleaning. The bathrooms smelled horrible. Like soured urine. Its 6$ per person to get in. They are nice and friendly. The slide is great but could use like two more. You cant bring your own drinks or food. They have a concession but it's a little pricey. Over6 a great place to swim.
Great place for family, lots of shaded seating. Make sure to bring cash to pay or purchase concessions as they frequently are unable to run cards. As of summer 2025 they have replaced pieces in toddler area of pool.
They need a little upgrade in the restrooms / changing areas. The doors don't close well. The pool itself is well maintained.
Don't open till 1 pm today not enough shade or tables the concession stand don't have much to choose from and they cost too much
