About

Public pool with a splash park offering a restroom.

Specific, published pool temperatures for the William "Bill" Davidson Pool Complex are not readily available. As an outdoor aquatic facility, the water temperature naturally fluctuates based on ambient weather conditions and sun exposure during its operational summer season. It is generally expected to be at a comfortable temperature suitable for swimming during warm weather.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool generally receives positive feedback for its cleanliness, family-friendly environment, and updated facilities, particularly the new splash pad, abundant seating, and various play areas. Many reviewers appreciated the convenience of family changing rooms. However, there were mixed opinions regarding concessions, with one user finding Dippin' Dots overpriced. A significant negative experience involved perceptions of overly strict lifeguards and excessive rules, leading to a feeling of being targeted and an unpleasant visit for one family, despite other reviews noting an increase in patrons due to the recent updates.

Very clean, great concession for a pool day. Lifeguards were kind to the kids. Lots of seating and different areas to play.

It ws fun. Love the splash pad. I can sit, tan, and read a book while the kids are playing there and not worry about them. It's clean and they have a family changing room so I don't have to take my son into the women's changing room anymore. The things I don't like is the only ice cream they offer is dipping dots at over 3 dollars is a little pricey for 4 kids. What happened to dollar ice cream sandwiches. All and all it's a nice place to visit.

We will never darken the doors of the William SWait pool again! I brought my grandchildren and I believe that the lifeguards targeted us for the entire afternoon. My grandchildren are obedient but the guards were blowing the whistle constantly at them the entire afternoon. There were hardly any kids in the pool and my daughter and I were surpervising them the entire time. The head lifeguard even berated my daughter (10 minutes) after the fact that my grandson was holding on to the rock climbing rope even though he let go immediately and did not do it again. I can see why there were so few patrons at the pool as the guards were constantly berating us and the myriad of rules that are required by the pool! Lighten up and let the kids have a good time!

Thumps up for the park district on the addition of the splash pad and updating the pool area. Great place to hang out with your family on those hot summer days. Come on out and enjoy. It was long overdue! I have never seen so many people at the pool.
