The pool slides and splash pad are not in working order. I learned upon arrival, that my kids wouldn’t even be able to use the slides unless the pads the swim test. That’s absolutely absurd. If they’re wearing flotation devices, they’re fine. Wonder how every other pool on the planet manages? I was also informed that one of my children had to be within “arm’s reach” of me because he was shorter than 4’10”. Also, insanely ridiculous. What a stupid rule. Now where else on the planet earth does this rule exist except maybe some other MWR location. The lifeguards were polite, however they hover around you and inform you of every single infraction you could possibly make. My kid had a flotation device and he was just swinging it around (not wildly) and there was nobody but myself in his proximity. The lifeguard WAS kind but informed me that it was only to be used for flotation. My God. Completely overbearing and it’s like Germany X’s 1,000,000. People immigrated to this country from Prussia (Greater Germany) because of rules like this. I’m a 40 year old dad who’s served 20 years and I cannot even make the choice to let my kids swim around at my discretion. I’ll just take them off post where sanity exists.

It a really cool pool with slides and alot of open water space my daughter love it here and it's open on weekends for 8:00 to 4:00pm

Life guards were alert and friendly. My grandson enjoyed the play toys that they make available for kids to share. Water is Luke warm and more bearable to enjoy. Thanks Kimbro!

I love bringing my son here on the weekends. There are plenty of lifeguards on duty. I really like that there is access to the pool right next to the family changing rooms. That way you're not forced to wake through the shower area with your kiddos.

Their strict rules are just a major turn off. Here's just a couple.. Only 1 or 2 kids per adult (so sorry Susie with the 4 kids, they gotta take turns), no swimming under water, kids must stay within arms reach (not arms reach and like an elbow, ONE ARM LENGTH), and they have 2 cool slides but unless you pass a swim test you can't use them (life vests apparently are irrelevant). Oh but they do have a kiddy pool area (that as far as I know is still closed after like 2 years). And while it's a whole 1.5 ft deep, a 4 yr old who can stand up and be half out of the water isnt allowed in it without a parent as well... Its just ridiculous.
