Specific pool temperatures for the Crystal Lake Park Family Aquatic Center are not readily published on official sources. However, public recreational pools like this generally maintain water temperatures between 80-84°F (27-29°C) to ensure comfort for a wide range of swimmers, though exact temperatures can vary based on the specific pool area (e.g., lap lanes vs. play areas) and operational policies.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Overall, the waterpark receives mixed to positive reviews. Many visitors praise its cleanliness, the variety of activities suitable for all ages (from toddlers to young adults), and the friendly, attentive staff. Specific attractions like certain slides, a natural rock area, and a 'kitty area' are highlighted as fun. However, several significant criticisms were noted. One reviewer expressed concerns about a particular deep-pool slide being dangerous, rough behavior among kids in the main pool, and limited food and drink options (only vending machines with questionable water quality). Another review strongly criticized the management's refund policy, particularly when the park closes due to weather shortly after entry, leading to inconvenience without a refund. Additionally, shade can be limited, with umbrellas being taken quickly, suggesting early arrival.

This waterpark is okay. Yep that’s it okay. First the pool. Kids fighting and throwing basketballs at each other. Next the slides, they’re super fun! The one that drops in the pool not so much. It’s super dangerous! I almost did a flip around the slide! Then I hit the water it hurt my leg my back and my head! They don’t allow food or drinks they don’t have food except vending machines. And they barely even have any water in the water is probably from the pool. So it’s a 3 star for me the 2 slides that don’t drop into the 12 foot pool are fun! And the kitty area is fun also!
This park had something for everyone. You can have a toddler up to a young adult with the different areas. I would suggest going early if you are looking for shade, the umbrellas are taken quickly.
As soon as we paid at the counter the management of the aquatic center closed the pool for thunder in the area. Since we had just paid and walked in, I figured they would give a refund. The staff said they couldn't give a refund unless they closed down completely due to weather. We were informed to check back in in a half hour. We hung around and checked back in, but this time they extended the waiting time by another 15 minutes. Since we didn't want to wait another 15 minutes, we just left. At that point even if they opened back up, the pool would only be open another 1/2 hour. The management should have done the right thing and refunded us and anyone else that was inconvenienced! This is poor management in their behalf! I don't blame the kids that were working the pool as they were just following managements directives!
Clean, well managed and fun. I enjoyed the natural rock area with water spraying to walk through. The slides were fun for the kids as well. The entire facility is surrounded by beebalm, coneflower and milkweed for the pollinators which was a nice touch.
I aboustly love the place, the place was so clean, the staff was super nice and on point. There's so many different activities to do, my kids loved it as well, diffantly some place I can spend the whole day.
