What are people saying (AI review summary)? The swimming pool is highly praised as a wonderful local gem, offering an amazing experience for families and children, with many enjoying their visits and planning to return. Positive aspects highlighted include engaging and effective instructors for swim programs, attentive lifeguards, a friendly atmosphere, and affordable entry fees. Guests appreciate the option to bring their own chairs, although there's a note about the lack of lounge chairs for tanning and that parents watching swim lessons need to bring their own chairs as viewing is from outside the pool area. There's also appreciation for food trucks operating during events. A suggestion was made to add a pool enclosure for extremely hot or sunny days to enhance comfort and attract more visitors.

Great summer swim program for the kids. The instructors were very engaging and great with kids of various ages. Kids were exposed to a lot of different swimming exercises and after four lessons I was able to see progress with my three kids. Note to parents - bring a camping chair to watch your kids swim bc you have to watch your kids from outside of the pool area, behind the fence.
I took my grandchildren and we all had a wonderful day at the pool. Small fee of $9 for 1 adult and two children. The children were friendly and played nicely together. This is just an oldie but goodie local gem! They have some chairs, and they allow you to bring your own chairs. I didn't see any lounge chairs for tanning. They have life guards on duty who pay close attention to the children and swimming pool rules. Some children flotation vests provided., but we brought our own.
First time there. Had so much fun. I will be going back
This Swimming pool is still amazing after over 40 years of being in Service in Lancaster. Think having a pool enclosure screen capability to completely cover Over on Extremely hot/sunny days would be a great addition that would definitely bring in more attendants on a regular basis during the Summer. Food for Thought !!!
Appreciate the County Rec Department allowing food trucks to operate in the parking area. Especially David's Dawgs and Little Orbits! The swim meets are long and the swimmers and fans get thirsty and hungry. Can't understand why the County Rec Dept doesn't run the concession stands at their ballfields, or allow food trucks there during ball season! Been 2 years running that no concessions are provided at the ballfields!
