My recent stay at Massanutten Resort had both positive and negative aspects, but unfortunately, one issue overshadowed the entire trip. The location is beautiful, and our condo was adequate and comfortable for our stay. However, we found the food options to be underwhelming, especially at the water park, where the quality did not justify the high prices. We also noticed significant inconsistencies in pricing for water park fee, with costs varying dramatically between weekdays, weekends, peak days, online bookings, and in-person purchases. The most disappointing and frustrating part of our visit, however, was the timeshare presentation. We gave up valuable vacation time, a couple of hours that we will not get back, to attend. The presentation was disorganized, and the representative we met with seemed unprepared and lacked professional sales skills. When we politely declined to purchase, we were met with a disrespectful and unprofessional attitude. The representative immediately became cold and walked away without a greeting or acknowledging our time. We were also assured beforehand that we would be under no obligation to purchase, but our experience made it feel as though we were only welcome if we were a potential buyer. While Massanutten is clearly a top-class resort in terms of its location and facilities, the way the timeshare team operates is a major problem. They need to respect every guest, regardless of their interest in purchasing. Improving their professionalism and sales tactics would be a significant step toward providing a truly positive and welcoming experience for everyone.

We love Massanutten Resort! There is plenty to do in each season - we've been there in the winter and in the summer. Love both! The mini golf course is one of the best we've ever played on - very well taken care of! It even has "sand traps" and "rough" on some of the holes. It can be a little overwhelming and hard to navigate the resort. It's sprawling, so you have to drive everywhere -and there's no shuttle to take you to the various attractions, like at other resorts we've stayed at. I always feel like I'm missing out on something because I don't know where anything is! But, we still find enough to keep us busy and we have a good time! The bedroom TV was ridiculously small. I also don't understand why the tvs don't allow you to log into your streaming apps. The kitchens have the bare minimum appliances and utensils, but every closet has extra blankets and pillows and we appreciated that! We had to call maintenance to fix something when we first arrived and they came right away and were very friendly. Overall, a great place to visit!

Checked in with my family of 4. Guess services very kind. The room was absolutely horrible. Clean sheets. Dated scratched furniture, 19 inch TV. Dirty carpet in the hallway leading to the room. Dirty carpet inside of the room. Rust around the faucets, dirty old knobs on the faucets. Stains on the chairs. We checked in and checked out. Horrible.

So disappointed that I have to make this review . As an owner who’s been coming with family for 20 years and recommended over 50 tours to this property I have to say I will and would not recommend this resort to family anymore . My last experience from checking in to arrive at the regal vista (gold member property at that ! ) things were missing in the kitchen . Both jacuzzi tubs were filthy to the point I had housekeeping come clean when we got settled . Back patio door was broken divider door between the two homes was broken . Shower door was broken couldn’t not close the door at all made a huge mess on the floor None on the outlets worked . On top of the house being a mess the customer service had me flabbergasted Apparently the front desk does not answer the phone you get sent to their call center which I was told by a manager that “ they are not apart of massanutten “ after we were misinformed about information regarding the water park the manager and supervisor of the water park racial profiled my family and would not let us in the water park told us we had came with out passes and tried to come again on the same pass and called security on us for asking questions all to go to the front desk and customer service be the same way . After I told the manager I recorded ALL my encounters and conversations was I then apologized to profusely and given water park pass for me trouble . . I’m extremely taken back by the experience and I will no longer be taking my family to this resort or recommending any other people ! They do not value the OWNERS. So I can imagine how they treat guest

Pretty nice, overall.... this was a last minute choice and we do not regret it, the scenery is beautiful. The water park is cool, rec center is nice, tried salt therapy which was interesting (take napkins if you're trying it-releases mucus). *Note- Room 487 (side E). I do NOT recommend, at night I could barely sleep due to the mechanical sprinkler room making noise and vibrating all night.
