This was my first time since I was a kid myself and my first time with my toddler! Was a great experience and the fellas at the front were super nice! Definitely going back
This is a wonderful pool. Also has playgrounds. Swimmable river. Place to put in canoe. Trails. Tennis. Soccer. Basketball. Public bathrooms. And handicap accessible areas. Picnic and grill areas. Or plenty of space to tuck away and meditate.
went here for the first time today With a friend and my infant. Overall, nice pool But only giving one star because I was very rudely approached by one of their teenager “lifeguards” And told that I cannot use my infants safety float In their pool. I understand that humongous pool Floaties are not allowed but an infants, life-saving safety float?! That’s a little ridiculous. Will not return here. Especially since this “ Lifeguard” Then went back to her other coworkers and Was mocking me. very rude!
The staff went above and beyond! We stopped on a whim while visiting from out of town. I was entirely unprepared. The lifeguard shared her sunscreen with me when there was none for purchase. The wadding pool was great for my 2 year old and the big pool was great for school aged kids. 4/5 because the facility itself was aging, but it sure kept us cool on 90 degree day.
This entire facility is absolutely DISGUSTING bathrooms are an absolute nightmare not to the mention the pools themselves are filthy! Kiddie pool was FULL of debris and dirt. The pool has also banned flotation devices in the main pool which is absolutely baffling to me. There’s also nowhere to sit in this entire facility aside from a few very uncomfortable hardwood benches and picnic tables, no reclining chairs or anything of the sort. Do yourself a favor and skip this pool and hit one the town over.
