What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the pool are largely mixed, with a strong emphasis on both positive aspects for families and significant concerns regarding cleanliness and outdated facilities. Many reviewers praise the pool's family-friendly environment, noting its large baby pool, ample shallow areas, and over-the-water basketball hoop, making it great for kids. Lifeguards are often described as sweet and nice, and there's plenty of space to swim. However, a prominent and consistent criticism across multiple reviews targets the restrooms and showers, which are frequently described as "disgusting," "filthy," and "outdated," with some even mentioning missing handles and an apparent lack of cleaning. This directly contradicts one review that found the bathrooms clean and well-kept. Further complaints include the pool not being heated (described as "freezing"), the kiddie pool sometimes containing leaves, and the overall outdated feel of the facility, including concrete stairs instead of a proper deck. Entry to the main pool is typically via ladders or seat lifts, without traditional steps. Despite these cleanliness and maintenance issues, many acknowledge that children still enjoy the pool.

The best pool. They must have updated the bathrooms because I think they are very clean and seem well kept despite others bad reviews on them. A big baby pool and lots of shallow areas. Very family friendly and the lifeguards are so sweet and nice. Will definitely join again next year.

Its s very nice facility but the showers are disgusting. 1/2 of them are missing the handles to turn on the water and ALL are filthy. They don't look as if anyone has cleaned them in months maybe even years. For being located in one of the most affluent communities of Tennessee, it surprised me that the town allows the showers to get as bad as they are. A little bleach and a scrub brush would go a very long way. Had we stayed in Signal Mountain longer, I would have cleaned them myself. Such a beautiful town with very nice people but whoever oversees the community pool needs to get on their game and stay on top of the restrooms and showers better.

The pool itself is a great place to take kids, or just relax yourself. They have an over-the-water basketball hoop and half of it is shallow, perfect for kids. However, the restrooms are so dirty and outdated they are almost unusable. The same goes with the showers. The pool is not heated, so it can be pretty cold. (By this I mean freezing.) The whole place is a little outdated with the fact that there isn't really a deck area around the pool, just some ugly concrete stairs that serve as seats. Maybe these factors are a symbol that its time for a new pool? Overall clean-ish and great for kids.

I think that this place is dirtier than a landfill. Really? The pool, the bathrooms, everything is just SO dirty. It would be a 1 if kids didn’t enjoy it at the very least.

Plenty of space to stretch out/swim, but get there early if you want a chair. The kiddie pool needed to be cleaned out when we went and had lots of leaves. There are not steps into the pool, only ladders or seat lifts for those that need some assistance which keeps the pool accessible but not the easiest to get in and out of.
